Hello,
My dermatologist has recommended that I use retin-a at night every other night for acne, and finacea twice a day for rosacea. I also like to use Vitamin C in the morning.
Does anyone know anything about a) possible interactions between these three things and b) the order that I should use in apply the Vit C and Finacea-- which goes first??
Any advice would be very appreciated.
thanks! |

I believe that Rx products always go first. You may want to call the derms office and ask them this question as I'm not 100% certain.

Lots of people use Vit C in the day and Retin-a at night so there should be no problems there if you're skin can tolerate them individually. As for the Finacea, I'm not too sure so you might wanna check up on that |

If your derm wants you to put both Rx's on at one time(since one is twice a day and retin A should always be used at night) I'm assuming there's no interaction. Vitamin C should not be a problem unless your serum has something else in it like BHA/AHAs.
Just call your doc if you experience irritation -- always better than internet advice if he/she is decent. |
