I felt the same way Catski and I emailed her about it. What she wrote sold me. I'll copy and paste below. I tend to be fair/medium with a slight yellow undertone and when I saw the tube I worried it would be too dark but it's perfect. I hope she'll agree to the samples.
the tinted moisturizer SHEER ACTIVITY re-enhances your own color and
therefor fits all colors
i am always using the example of a dry stone ..
if a stone is dry one cannot see its own color , but after pouring
water on it, the stone comes to life and all its colors will radiate.
so no worries about color matching etc...
it will enhance and bring out & deepen your beautiful color naturally
, the effect is as you just had a walk on the beach.
your skin will look like you just got an oxygen boost and it protects
with spf 15 |
Oh crumbs. That's a very good spiel, isnt it. I'm sold on it as well, now. It sounds great.
Sounds as though I'm more or less the same colouring as you, kimberley, which is extra reassuring about the colour match. How much coverage would you say it gives? |

Oh boy. I'm not good at this. I wore Chantacaille *if you're familiar with it* Real Skin and I feel like I have somewhat better coverage but with a much better appearance to the skin, less matte and more dewy appearing. Yogi, If I remember correctly uses a "midget pea sized amount" and I use a large pea. LOL. I'm happier with more I've found. Catski, you might PM Yogi and ask for her opinion as she's the IQ pro around here.

OKAY! IQ lady has kindly agreed to send samples! So! I will soon find out if a small pea or a large pea will take years off me.
I'm looking forward to it. |

I like Dr. Denese's tinted moisturizer. There is only one shade to match pale to dark as she uses melanin (human pigment), so it blends naturally with "all" skin tones. It is broad spectrum UVA (uses zinc oxide) and UVB (to SPF30). You can buy it from a few places, including QVC.com. |
You know ... I used to use that and quit after awhile because I heard it wasn't a "clean" product. But it did fabulous things for me and I LOVED the coverage (sheer PLUS great SPF). Dang. I'm going back to it!!!
Thanks for reminding me of it! |

4sons, Glad to be an enabler ! Makeup alley rated the Dr. Denese TM 4.3 out of 5 with 80% saying they would repurchase (42 reviews). For some reason, I feel better about my decision when others agree with me! |

Yeah, yeah, yeah ... we're not enablers, we're ENCOURAGERS!
But I'm definitely going to get more. I use MMU and I didn't like the "drag" I felt when apply it (MMU) after the Dr. D. tinted moisturizer. Now I don't wear foundation anymore so the moisturizer on it's own would be PERFECT! |

I have been using Dr. Denese's Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30 for several months. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!!! I purchased mine from Ebay for half the price I would have paid on QVC.
The moisturizer blends well with my medium skin tone (pink undertones). It leaves a matt finish. The coverage is very light yet evens out my complextion. |

Winnie, do you use the LH Face Disk makeup over the TM? (By the way, I feel the same way about her TM's finish and my skin has very yellow undertones -- it really is a product for many skintones!) |

I am really liking this product right now. At first, I put on way too much and looked very dark (I am very pale), but now that I have figured out to use a really small amount, my skin looks great with it on. I am glad that I tried it.

I have been really happy with the tm from Trish McEvoy (never seem to see her products reviewed around here) and Chanel. I am very fair and have been able to get good matches from both brands. |

LH Face Disk applies nicely over Dr. Denese's Tinted Moisturizer. |

I don't have alot of access to many brands here... So I'm using Stila currently but I find it a tad too oily... Heard alot about LM but it's too expensive here to even try! gotta start looking for other brands to try after my tube finishes... |
