She's such a clever bug that she even has her own myspace page -how cute! So if you have a myspace profile come and say hello to Trixie - she just loves people and their pets, but watch your husbands as she's a wild girl.

I like her outfit. Tres chic! Is she a natural blonde?

OMG...Mermaid, this picture is priceless!! I would've never know a dung beetle could be so cute...but you gotta love Trixie!

Forgot to say...I love all the pics on this thread! Having 3 kitties of my own, it's really fun to see everyone else's adorable feline babies...

It's just so adorable seeing him like that. Clearly, he doesn't have a care in the world because he knows he's loved and adored. Wish that all pets had the life of Forest!

You know, I have to ask if someone really has a dung beetle... or if it's just a joke. I guess if it's a joke, fine, but there might be a better place for it.

That's just me. Not trying to start any controversy. I just don't want this thread to veer off in the wrong direction.

That's a good question, Violetanne! I guess I've just known some people with very unusual pets (my bro-in-law had a boa constrictor, my aunt had a tarantula, etc.) so nothing would surprise me! Laughing

Belle, I think you're fun, and funny! You have a cute (and sometimes wicked) sense of humor, and so do a lot of other people on this forum, so don't sweat it. I enjoy reading your posts, so don't stop being yourself.

Regardless of what Trixie does to improve herself, I think she looks marvelous! Very Happy

Oh, c'mon! Rolling Eyes Its a joke, and an obvious one at that. And you have to be kidding talking about this thread veering off in the "wrong" direction ... most of the threads on this forum veer off in different directions and there's nothing wrong with Belle being funny by posting about Trixie. For Pete's sake, lighten up!

And Mary, you're right about people having "different" kinds of pets ... I knew a guy who had a pet raven, and a friend of mine has a bearded dragon. Other people I know have had pirhanas, and even alligators as pets. Truthfully, a dung beetle might not be that exotic!

Hmmm...we may be on to something here! Let's start raising Dung Beetles as "exotic pets" and charge everyone $500.00 a piece...even more for the "pedigreed" ones... Laughing

Okay...I've had too much coffee! Laughing

What is a bearded dragon?? Is it some kind of lizard? Sounds like something my boa constrictor lovin' bro-in-law would've liked!

Thanks guys you're great. I have no intention of censoring myself because others don't like me. I like me and this is who I am. Hey I have to be tolerant of others even when I don't like them...but that's part of life.

I'm glad you guys rescued him! I'm a sucker for runts and (gasp!) 'undesirables'. I was going to go into a really sad story about a little guy we had...but lets just say, sometimes the littles ones have the most love to give.

Manslayerliz's bunnies tongue is killing me...so cute!

I wish I could have every critter on this thread
Don't worry though, I'm not collecting animals lol. I know too much love can be a problem.

Mojo is a boy and Cricket is a girl (I know by the way they look it seems like it should be the opposite Smile ). Mojo was almost grown when we found Cricket and he was the BEST papa cat to her. As you can see, they take care of each other now Smile

Ok, so if I have kids I will probably be the lady with the wallet that has pictures falling to the floor when opened:

This a picture of our little guy who wasn't so fortunate but look how precious he was! (please ignore how scrubby I look...the pic is almost 4 years old and I didn't plan on leaving the house that day)

Him again with Delphie...that box was barely big enough for one of cat lol:

Delphie, Mojo, and Cricket snuggling after a hard day of window gazing:

Cricket passed out in the window:

First and last day experimenting with a cat leash:

My aunt's cat, Peanut, trying to eat a cherry...he'll eat just about anything:

Ok, Ok I'm done

...for now Cool

lol I do, specially when my hair is really long or really short.

p.s. I'm not cat biased...I love just about everything. I have this super cute video (wish I knew how to host it without having to register somewhere) of my other aunt's basset hound pup Kirby. He melts my heart so bad...plus he has fat toes and ankles and I can completely relate. As skinny as I am, I can hardly where any high heels Laughing
