I will never walk into the Body Shop anymore coz I have tried the following items and they don't work well on both my face and my body.

Body butter
Vitamin E eye cream
Cranberry shimmer lotion
Vitamin C cleansing face polish
Vitamin E hand & nail treatment

If I may ask, why doesn't the body butter work?
They have different levels of moisture...I love 'em...I just don't want to pay the 16 or 17 bucks they are asking for them now...

But the Nut Butter is my favorite!

ETA: They have a lot more products that might work...I used their Tea Tree Oil cleanser and loved it (I just got bored Smile )

Funny, but for me, the only lipsticks I'm not allergic to are the ones from the Body Shop. It's sad because they don't have that many colors to choose from.

The Body Shop's Hemp Hand Protector is a great product and I believe their best seller. It's certainly my favourite Body Shop product.

I am surprised the body butter doesn't work, but I suppose there are plenty of things in the ingredient list that could irritate some people.

bb2000, don't worry, there must be products that work for you out there!

A few years back I did a tour of the Body Shop Factory with a friend. It was really interesting to hear how Anita Roddick started out and that nothing was sterilised, she didn't worry about the preservatives etc and everything was just knocked up at her home in the beginning.

Her first shop in Brighton used to be next to an undertakers, I wonder how the name, The Body Shop went down with their customers! She also used to sprinkle strawberry essential oil down the alleyway leading up to her shop and then put it on the door handles so that people would be attracted to it.

No, L'Oréal do. I think they're trying to buy the whole world, along with Estee Lauder.

No but I think she only got rid of it recently. It's been going downhill for years.

The whole world owned by L'Oreal. Everything a bit tacky and not working very well.
Yes, I can see it coming. ( If it isnt here already.)

A lot of the Body Shop products are heavy on the fragrance so perhaps this is what you are reacting to... I love the strawberry shower gel, but, it is full of chemicals.

I don't use anything from the Body Shop except their Vanilla Eau de Toilette (my favourite scent). I haven't had any good experiences with their skin care products. Sad

I work for The Body Shop for almost 2 years and I have tried a lot of their products.

Face products are really "basic". Formulation similar to drugstore brands. If you skin dosent need to much, there is a lot of good products for you but if you have specials needs you wont find AHA-BHA , good vit C ...

They have good body products in general and the oils of perfume last longer then most eau de toilette I have tried.

You get what you pay for !

Before L'occitane, that's where I buy masks most. I do like their mask products. Unfortunately, they discontiunued the best ones, such as the firming mask, the black garant, sigh. Really don't understand why.

I dislike the VE lines, dislike their new aloe vera line either.

Noticed that there is big sale sign at the Body Shop window this morning, $1.00, $3.00, $6.00 & lots of other cheap stuff.

Good price but still cannot attract me!
