Hi, I'm wanting to make the DMAE serum using Hyaluronic Acid and Aloe Gel, and only a few recipes are showing up in the DIY thread, I think someone said the search engine is not working correctly or something.
If someone can paste a link for the DIY recipe for the above serum I would be so happy
Also, can DMAE be used with ALoe gel and NO hyalronic acid?
So basically, I'm wanting 2 serums:
1. DMAE, Hyaluronic Acid, Aloe gel
2. DMAE and Aloe gel only with maybe some b5 (or pantothenic acid) added
I don't know which form of DMAE to buy and how much to put in, I can only measure in teaspoons, I have no scales. |

Hi, I have made a dmae serum just using aloe vera gel - no problems. I can't give you exact proportions as I am the sort of person who just measures by looking and hoping for the best. My only recommendation would be to start off with a small amount of powder in the gel and see what sort of effect it has. If there is no irritation and you want more of a firming effect, just add a little more of the dmae. Test again the next day. Still no irritation but happy with the firming effect? There's your product. No irritation but want to up the firming effect? Add a little more and test a third time the next day.
I have also mixed dmae into ready made creams, no problems. The only side effect is that it makes most creams thinner in texture.
Good luck and have fun. |
