Hi Girls,
After reading so much good comments from the forum, I really want to buy some skin care pdts from the above brands, could some girls here recommend me some must have items for my combination to dry skin? (cleaner, moisture, serum, mask.. ..etc)
I am currently using SkinCeuticals Cleaning Cream, Cellex Sensitive Serum and Kinerase Cream.
Thks

Hi Anna
By "combination to dry" do you mean that you have combo skin with oily and dry patches?
In terms of cleanser I would highly recommend YonKa Gel Nettoyant. I know it's not on your list, but I like it so much I just had to mention it Takes off all your makeup (including eye makeup), and it doesn't sting your eyes. It smells nice (if you like geranium ) so that's a bonus too That's if you wanted to change from the cleanser you are currently using. I also really like Dermalogica Dermal Clay cleanser - feels so wonderfully winty and refreshing! However, if you do have dry patches then you wouldn't be able to use this continually I don't think.
Exfoliator - Dermalogica Microfoliant - gentle brightening exfoliator (many fans of it on this forum ).
Moisturiser - Dermalogica Sheer Tint Moisture with SPF15 (tinted moisturiser but also comes untinted).
Serum - Skinceuticals Serum 10 (and the B5 gel over it)
Sunblock - Skinceuticals Ultimate UV Defense SPF30
Well, that's my recs. Having combo (and non-sensitive I take it?) skin means that there are quite a few products from these brands that your skin might like. I'm sure other ladies (and gents ) will suggest their faves as well.

I'm with Mabsy on the c vit serum tho I use 20 from the primacy range and the B5 gel is SOOOOO lovely! had a sample of the UV defense 30 and will get when I put my next order in .....it's not only good under makeup but feels moisturising too. Hope that helps, haven't tried the other stuff you are after ..........................Yet! |

I use another C serum brand - I liked the skinceuticals but the price was high for me. I get 12% concentration, stable l-ascorbic acid formula from cellularskinrx.com. (It's an online brand.) $38 was about as much as I could handle. But I do love what C does for me skin. I also read today that some Swedish researchers have id'ed oxidation and free radical formation within mitochondria in the body as being responsible for the general aging process......I'll be using the C and E inside and outside from now on. |
