I discovered this forum a few weeks ago and love all the honest comments, reviews and advice that I have read here.
I only found the time to log on and join yesterday.
I noticed some comments here and there about Herbalinn cream. I tried to do a google search for this, but I had no luck. The web address (www.herbalinn.com) isn't up and running anymore.
I wanted to do some more research on this product. I am an Asian woman with combination/"very" sensitive skin. I am very pale except for my arms. I am more diligent wearing sunscreen on my face, but I always neglect my arms.
I want to try to lighten my arms so I can match it to the rest of my body.
Also if anyone could suggest any product(s) to help reverse the sun damage to my arms. Would greatly appreciate the advice.
Thank you very much in advance. |

ooooh, that's tough. C serums are great for reducing hyperpigmentation but for overall lightening....I'm not sure. I don't think there are any stable C products for the body that aren't insanely expensive. (You could order facial products and apply to your arms but it would be sooo expensive...)
Have you tried just using a super sunscreen for awhile to see if they go back to their original color? I mean, a real sunblock? |

Hello betterat40!
Yes, I agree with you the products for the face would be way too costly for my arms.
For a super sunblock I was contemplating the Photoderm Max (another product I've discovered on this forum) or Anthelios XL (the magazines are advertising this one). I have read on MakeUpAlley the Anthelios is very thick and greasy.
So I'm still contemplating....actually I'm not sure at all what would be a good purchase for me.
I would love to hear more suggestions if you have another super sunblock in mind.
Thanks again for your suggestions. |

For my body, I use Banana Boat's SPF 48 Active Sport. I like that it is waterproof and sweatproof. I'm a sports person so I need for the screen to stay on through thick and thin. It is not thick and greasy. Actually gives your skin the slightest shine which actually can look pretty sexy sometimes. I use Neutrogena's Active Breathable on my face. I have heard that Coppertone's Oil-Free Active Gel is an excellent choice as well if you prefer a non-creamy base. |
