Does obagi nu-derm help with pitted scars? Is there any way to reduce peeling, e.g. use it only at night and other products during the day?

Nu Derm is for hyperpigmentation. You would not have any results as far as pitted scars go, unfortunately.

All these products like nuderm and retin-a really does wonders for hyper pigmentation. Pitted scars are an unfortunate matter. Retin-a helps with fine lines by boosting collagen production by boosting cell turnover. The reason retin-a plumps up fine lines is because it helps thicken up the skin. When we get to a pit, you've lost a lot of your upper layer of skin. There isn't much cells to turn over and thus won't get much of any result with retin-a for pitted scars.

Obagi Nu-derm will not help with your pitted scars, but it will improve the overall condition of your skin. The only way that you can reduce peeling is to reduce Obagi Exfoderm and reduce Retin-A (or get a lowest strength of Retin-A say 0.025%). Instead of applying everyday, you can apply, say 2 or 3 times a week, depending what your skin can handle. If you want to use your preferred products during the day, this is still ok. However, the frequency of your Obagi treatment and using preferred "other products" in the morning (or evening) will slow down the results what you are aiming for....
