Hi everybody,
I have rhinitis and a lot of unpleasant allergies and am constantly blowing my nose. As a result, I tend to break out in the areas surrounding my nose and mouth. Does anybody have any suggestion what I could do? Something I could put on my face? Sadly I can't get rid of the allergies and I take medications; so I'm looking for something to take care of my breakouts. TIA

I apologize for bumping my own thread so soon but I did some research and came up with "acne mechanica" as the culprit. Does anybody else have this? I can't stop blowing my nose but I wonder if I could add some sort of cream to my face from time to time? Help... |

I'm sorry, Cat, I dont know about the skin thing. But blowing your nose a lot is not ideal, long term, as you know.
have you tried nasal washing and then the application of a herbal nasal spray that lines the nostrils with protective gel so that allergens cant attach to nostril hair?
I have a cat, and cat allergy, so am always on the look out for remedies for the situation.
Sorry I cant be of more help. |
