Night Nutrients is a nourishment fluid for overnight that replaces the more traditional lotion type moisturizer in your regimen. It is a faintly oily fluid, but don't let that put you off. That feeling is from a load of very effective nutrients that soak in within a minute of application. It takes on 2 to 3 drops of it for the whole face. It is aroma free. And yes, it really does work in just one night.
The main ingredients, and their purposes are:
- Vitamin C for enhance even tone and lessen age spotting.
- Vitamins A and E (antioxidants) for free-radical protection.
- Millet Seed Extract and Jojoba Oil which drastically reduce puffiness and smooth fine lines and wrinkles.
- Borage and Kukui Nut Oil for fatty acids that maintain healthy skin and give a really nice glow.
- Silica based for better absorption.
- Sunflower extract, rosemary extract (moisture delivery), St. John's Wort extract (calming), and Chamomile extract.
While all of that may sound sort of simple when most ingredients in Lancome can't be pronounced, I simply can't overstate how extraordinarily well this works.
There are many kinds of facials and I usually switch between clinical (Dermatalogica) and conditioning (Aveda) to balance my act out. If you're at all skeptical about this, but have sensitive skin or a desire to start a better regimen for your face, a good way to try all this out is to have an Aveda facial. It is unlike any facial you'll ever get anywhere else and you'll be a new person on the way out the door. See what you look like the next morning, then stampede to the salon to buy up this product!
As for the price, Aveda tends to run a bit higher whether it is hair care or facials or any other treatment, but that isn't the case with this product. At only $36 for one fluid ounce it is much less than many others on my shelf. Since it only takes 2 or 3 drops a day, one bottle should last about 2.5 to 3 months.
