Of course, when I'm not smiling they aren't as deep. Is there any way to lessen the depth when I smile? I just ordered Relax-A-Line but I haven't received it yet. I am right now using Cellex-C Vit C, Hydra 5 and Emu Oil. If I work on them with Retinols and such, will the depth eventually lessen? UGH! Why oh why did I not wear sunglassess all those years?!!! |

Hi:
I have the same problem, only much worse because I'm much older. I can't believe the success I've had with copper peptide serum. When I started I couldn't wear eye makeup of any kind because it would only rub off on the deep folds and wrinkles on my upper eyelid. Within six weeks I was once again able to use eyeliner and shadow and its only gotten better since. The Emu Oil is also very effective with the cp's. I also used hydroxy acids in conjunction with cp's and emu oil.

I also use Exfol (a few times a week), Super CP serum and Emu Oil.
Try, many people had success with this.
Best of luck,
Lucy. |

I just tried a sample of Best Bath Store's intensive eye treatment. I really like it. It is very moisturizing. I am also going to order Dream Eye Lift, and Dream Eye 3-in-1 samples from Denise (referred to me by Rjez). If all else fails, I will try to CP stuff. Right now I am trying this stuff on my tummy stretch marks. |

Retinol/retinal at night. Hight UVA protection sunscreen, sunglasses and hat during the day. Don't use too many things at the same time. And all the others (Vit. C, natural products, etc) are only good for prevention. Nothing beats retinoids for correcting purpose.
Have you been using sunscreen around the eyes? If not, it's a bit late but you need to start. |

Awww, you're so sweet I guess botox could be an option, but I was trying to find an alternative before I had to give in to botox. |

Botox will flatten those lines out faster than any product you can buy. I get Botox about 3 times per year only on my crows feet area and I love it! Good thing I don't have forehead or "eleven ||" issues or I'd go broke on Botox!

Do you know how many CC's you had to get for that area and/or what the approximate cost for that area was? |

I get 5 injections around each eye. Price ranges from $300-350 per area. Prices ranges because sometimes she can get it cheaper. Both eyes are considered one area, forehead one area, etc.

Molly is absolutely right.
I started with diluted CP, then after 6 months progressed to Super CP. Also, I have to use DMAE silk from Kripps for it's antiinflamatory properties, or my extremely sensitive eyes get inflamed.
DMAE also should help with firmness.
My current problem is that nothing really helps with bags, and if anything is somewhat effective it dries the eye area too much.

I have been using Green Cream 6 around my eyes, I really think this has helped with the fine lines. I bought it for my face, but it made me break out very bad, so I started using it just under my eyes, and WOW, it really works. |

I think Botox is the best option and continue to use the other products. I love Vit. C. |

I use tazorac on my lower lid. I've been using it for almost a year and a half. I also use copper peptides, but you should start out slow with those. |

What a pretty eye rcascone. My best advice for you is to use a Vit. C serum or cream for the eye area and a good sun protectant. Sun glasses are a must. Whether it be summer or winter put on your sun glasses when you are out doors and driving.
Once lines are established I don't think they can be completely demished unless you see a derm. You can certainly get rid of fine lines. Deeper lines can be made softer. phredd4 idea of Botox is certainly an option.
Actually I think your eyes are beautiful. Your picture is very close. Surely your smile lines are not very noticable in person. If they really bother you see a derm. No matter what you decide on I still think C, sunscreen and glasses are a must to prevent future lines.
Good luck. |

You are all so sweet for saying I have beautiful eyes! The wrinkles around them have been quite my obsession lately. I now wear sunglasses all the time, but I believe this damage was done back in highschool/college. I didn't even think about squinting causing wrinkles back then! I always feel I'm too young to start getting anything "cosmetic", but I guess I am a working woman and maybe I deserve it??!! Hmmm... |

I also suffer from wrinkles and fine lines around my eyes. I had been using vit C and DMAE around my eyes. I can see some improvement but now I read copper peptide and retinol may be even more effective. I read the postings on CP and retinol and both claimed to improve skin textures. May I know if CP or retinol is better/more effective to combat wrinkles around the eyes? Sounds like both may cause irritation.
Thanks. |

My eye lines have been helped by Avene retinol and the PSF vitamin C serum - I can't remember the name must be the heat - it's stifling here. |

I have success with Avene ystheal emulsion. I usually very skeptical, but in this case I do see the results in a few weeks. My undereye lines (i had 2 that I wanted to eliminate) became much less deep.
