Well, my dream of starting my own company of organic and holistic handcrafted skin, body and wellness items is slowly coming to fruition (I hope). So far I have 2 web pages designed by yours truly and a potential product list made up. It's been difficult finding the time with a full time job, but I am perservering as I've waited long enough as is. I have lots of ideas but need to narrow things down a bit or I'll never get this off the ground. LOL
I'd like to ask you all if you can participate in a little poll to let me know which products you would purchase from a specialty line. If there is more than one item than please post a response. I'd be interested in learning which products you all like best. I'd also love to hear any prior experiences you've had with handcrafted items and any tips, advice or suggestions. Thanks in advance for your input. |

You have a lot of great ideas. I think the masks and oils sound great and also the teas. There are many companies that sell creams and serums for the face but not enough masks (I love facial masks). Teas sound like a lovely idea. I would think you would do best by carry products that are not so readily available.
I also like the idea of Candles but prefer tarts. Have you ever burned fragrance oils? Very lovely.
Good luck to you. |

I am a HUGE fan of handmade things and often purchase them online.
I have purchased:
Soy candles (and yes, TARTS are wonderful!!!)
Body washes with a decent pH and no SLS
I'd love to see more "clean" bath products. I love my basic skin routine so can't see myself changing products there, but I'm also a lip gloss JUNKIE and would LOVE to see some "clean" lippies out there in cyperworld!
And yes, yes to teas!!! |

I voted for the body stuff, especially handmade soaps. LOVE those. I prefer that type of soap over shower gels, etc. I'd also be tempted to buy handmade candles. I haven't purchased handmade skincare yet, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't down the road.
Good luck! |

I love buying hand made skincare and bath products. My vote was for skincare, as it's my number one...but I do love a good bath or shower with hand made scrubs and soaps!!!
I'm excited for you wildflower!!! |

I promised not to stalk Ruth, but she said it so well! Clean bath products and lovely teas are the two items I would be interested in from a "handmade"-type boutique.

I chose skincare because I like experimenting with new skincare. Havent found 1 which suits me best. Well if you have all of the above, I dont mind too. So wont have to buy skincare, haircare or tarts all over. haha it'll save me on shipping. |

I would buy hair care and skin care, especially if they are without alcohol! Nice conditioners for CO washing, and maybe high quality hair toys.
But then again, you probably wouldn't ship to Europe.... |

I buy facial care and bath products from Candessence. Shampoo, face cleanser, toner, eye cream, de-tox bath oil, some body washes--I make & sell my own.
