Best hair products for volume? I am looking for shampoo, conditioner, and styling products that give MEGA-volume. Any suggestions?

Have you tried Pureology's volumizing line? I use the Pure Volume Shampoo, Pure Volume Conditioner, Blow Dry Amplifier, Root Boost and/or Power Dressing. I find that these products give my fine hair a good deal of volume and really like that the styling products do not contain alcohol so they do not dry out the hair like some volumizing products do. They also do not make hair feel stiff or crunchy.

They also make a Thickening Masque but I've only used it once or twice and haven't decided if I like it or not yet.

No,jwils, I haven't tried any of the pricier brands.I wanted to get a good recommendation before I spent a lot of money on a new brand. I don't mind spending if it is going to give good results. Thanks for your suggestion - I'll see where it is available in Canada.

I am cursed with fine hair, but I love BIG body with my hair blown back, so I totally depend on volumizing products. I LOVE pureology's products--- I use the volume shampoo, incharge hairspray, and root lift spray mousse. If you would like to start with a less expensive product, I also love Alba Hawaiian's Honeydew Hairwash. Honestly, it gives pretty much as much volume as pureology, and it also gives a ton of shine too. HTH!

Mixing honey into my regular conditioner (which has been discussed here in a few other threads) has given my shoulder length, baby fine, naturally zero volume hair significantly more body and shine. If I really want to amp it up I put large velcro rollers in, do a quick spritz of hairspray, and leave them in while I do my makeup, then finger comb my hair out.

If you call the 800 number on the Pureology website, you can ask them to send you samples if you'd like to try it before purchasing it.

I know you can get samples of the shampoo & conditioner, but I'm not sure about the styling products.

If you decide you like it, you can drop me a pm and I can give you the name of an ebay store that sells it for less than in salons and periodically offers free shipping on the shampoo/conditioner duos.

There is this product from france called phytovolum Actif. Its made in france by the Alesa Group. Its a spray bottle.3.3 fl oz for $22.00! I bought it at Kamay but you should be able to get it at other beauty stores. Its awesome .I only use it once in a while and when I do it makes me look like I have a huge mane of dark hair when in fact I have rather thin hair.(Thats why I am taking those hair vitamins.)
