No Scream Cream is a topical anesthetic that can be used before waxing to lessen the pain. It is formulated to not interfere with standard wax.

I am very sensitive to the pain of waxing, so I ordered this cream. After my last waxing (and before ordering this cream) I decided to try laser hair removal. My first laser hair removal treatment was last month and I found it painful -- not quite as painful as waxing, but it wasn't a piece of cake either. After my first treatment I received the No Scream Cream.

I used it today before my second treatment. I applied it to my underarms and bikini area 1 hour before. It was remarkable! For the most part, I didn't feel a thing! The odd time I did feel it, it was very minor. The woman doing my LRH was even able to double-zap each area without any complaining from me. Wink

I highly recommend No Scream Cream for anyone who is sensitive to the pain of waxing or laser hair removal. I love this stuff!

Active Ingredients: Benzocaine 20%
Inactive Ingredients: Glyceryl Stearate SE, Imidurea, Methylparaben, PEG-8, PEG-75, Petrolatum, Propylene Glycol, Propyl Paraben, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Stearic Acid, Stearyl Alcohol, Trolmine, And Purified Water.

I can't say that I didn't feel anything, but it really was nothing bad. And there were only a few spots that I felt it (likely because I didn't apply enough cream), but it wasn't like I had to brace myself for it, the way I used to. It really does work that well. Smile (And I'm a big chicken!) Wink

How amazing..I'm such a ninny! How long do you think the tube will last? Rather, does it take a lot to get the desired effects?

I wonder why they have to add SLS to the ingredients since this is not a cleanser.

It doesn't take a lot of cream to numb the area; but you do have to be sure to actually cover the whole area. Wink (That's where I messed up).

How long it will last would depend on the area(s) you are treating. I hate to venture a gues, but I'd say that if you were using for bikini only, you'd probably get 15 applications.

Although I didn't find having my legs lasered painful, I'm not so sure my underarms will quite so easy. I may well see about getting some of this stuff before then.

That's funny because that is exactly what caught my eye! Very Happy I wasn't looking for that type of product at all, but when I came across the name, I had to know more. And luckily, it was something that I could really use! I mean, who could resist having a tube of No Scream sitting on their vanity? Wink

mine is supposed to get here any day, I'm so excited to test it out --
although I'm surprised this stuff passed FDA muster, 20% benzocaine is a lot. Most I've ever seen is 10%. But if the FDA says it's ok, I am not going to argue with it.
