As you all know by now, I'm a huge fan of Alima's Foundation Brush, Blush Brush, and Eyeliner Brush. However, I put off buying their large eyeshadow brush for a long time because when I blend eyeshadow in my crease etc I like to use an angled crease brush. However, the natural hair brushes I was using (one from Fresh, one from glominerals) were literally tearing my delicate eye area up--- it was actually painful!!! So, since the Alima eyeshadow brush is so cheap, I figured I'd go ahead and try it and I added it to a recent order. All I can say is, I will NEVER go back to the scratchy natural hair brushes I was using!!!! This morning when I did my eye makeup, I blended to my heart's content, and there was no pain, no scratchiness, just the feeling of silk on my eyelids.
The shape of the Alima Large Eyeshadow brush is very interesting. It's wide and flat like you see in the picture on the website, but the tip comes to a point. So, you can use the flat side for sweep color across the lids and blending color in the crease, and then you can use the finely pointed tip for lining your eyes, pushing color into your lash line, or highlighting under your brows.
You can order the Large Alima eyeshadow brush atwww.alimacosmetics.com for $7.50. I'm ordering another one ASAP, because now that I've tried it, I can't be without it. |

I ordered #11 brush too...I wish I combined the shipping with the #25 I ordered yesterday. Too bad, now I have to pay extra 5 bucks for shipping.
Liz, please stop giving rave reviews..at least for now |
