but I'm asking again. It doesn't have to be a long answer. I'm just about out of my Origins Pressed Powder and I really like it, but I haven't tried very many different ones. What are your favorites? I use the pressed powder primarily to take away shine left by my skin care products.
Thanks mucho. |

I'd suggest L'Oreal Visible Lift pressed powder. It works as well as the Origins one. It doesn't settle into fine lines. |

Brilliant for over SS and looks lovely. |

Prescriptives Traceless Loose Powder! Though it's loose powder it comes in a very cool little container that's attached to a powder puff so all you have to do is to apply the puff to your face. No messy powder over your clothes |

I love the Prescriptives magic powder - it feels wet going on and is very refreshing, especially in summer. Again, it's loose rather than pressed though. |

Prescriptives sounds interesting. Although, I liked the idea of going to the local Wal-Mart for Loreal. LOL!!! Anymore votes for Prescriptives or Loreal?
Thanks everybody for your suggestions. I really appreciate it. I used my Smashbox Primer this A.M. and Man, do I love that stuff!! |

I don't use loose powder - it's too messy. The L'Oreal Visible Lift one is translucent enough to be used to set my makeup. But not all L'Oreal pressed powders are that translucent and light. |

Gosh I've tried so many pressed powders!
I finally found my HG though a while back - Givenchy Prisme Again Compact Powder Quartet(I use Chic White) - its a square compact with four shades in it, and a neat compartment underneath with a brush. I have found it knocks back any oilies without leaving you looking 'powdered' never cakes no matter how much you use it. More importantly it leaves your skin looking smooth, and natural. You can use each colour separately to colour correct or swirl a brush over all four and sweep over your face which gives a soft transluscent finish. (Don't let the colours put you off it really does belnd into your skin beautifully).
Absolute love this one!
Hopefully this link will show you the colour options available.

You even reviewed this product on Amazon. You really must love it!!! I'm probably going to try the Loreal first because I can get it here in my little town and I DO like the price, even though I don't know what the price is. LOL! I'll keep the Prescriptives and Givenchy in mind though and will buy those next. Did you also try the Magic Potion by Prescriptives? |

Hi!
Nope that wasn't me on Amazon (was me you meant? ) but I agree with everything she said!
By the way I've used the Prescriptives Magic Powder and fluid too and found them very nice but still prefer the Givenchy ! |

I like Physician's Formula Powder Palette, the multi-colored one. I like the packaging too...the applicator has it's own compartment so it isn't sitting on top of the powder all the time. Love it, and the price is right too. Around $8 maybe? It lasts me forever, so it could have gone up in price since the last time I purchased it. |
