Hi there,
Am looking for a good night creme that is hydrating and leaves your skin soft when waking up. Anyone has any suggestions? Thanks Smile

I am quite fond of Janson Becketts Night Cream. I have mature skin type and love all the ingredients packed in this one cream. Most of all my skin responds well to JB Night Cream (toned/hydrated). Any lines and wrinkles look soft and plumped up. Smile The fact that it has no scent is a big plus. I do not know if EDS has samples of this product. You can always ask on your next purchase. If you like it the price is wonderful for 4 oz. If you purchased these ingredients individually it would be very pricy.

I've used the Decleor Rose d'orient balm or Essential balm as my night creams and love them.

I've been using Neutrogena Light Night Cream. Its working wonders for me....all the hydration I need and it does not cause blemishes (which I'm prone too). Its also very inexpensive...around $10 USD.

I dont think there is anything groundbreaking going on but it does hydrate and has seemed to help with the fine lines (due to dehydration).

Good luck.

I made my own by adding certain actives to Orjene Organics CoQ10 night treatment I bought from Vitacost. My skin has never looked better, so I must have done something right! I love being a mad scientist. What I love about Orjene Organics is it doesn't have parabens.

Can you tell us what you added in?

GABA
CoQ10
Ester C (the scientific name starts with M - I don't remember it)
Melatonin (supposed to go well w/ Ester C and helps with skin elasticity)
and DMAE

I just ordered Dermagen and AntiOx booster, which I plan to add to the next batch (or maybe a little to this batch, too). Dermagen is supposed to help thicken the skin.

I'm going to make my own DMAE serum, too, and I think I got a good recipe for it....just hoping for the best. Smile I can't afford to buy DMAE serum any more since it's getting too expensive. I plan to use it all over my body.

hm.. what is the difference between balm and regular moisturizer? I thought balm is more for drying skin.
