I am using the face powder from Jurlique after suncream and foundation. It is fantastic to absort oil and leave skin fresh. But will it also absort water from skin? Thanks for your reply.

Do you mean sweat when you say water?

I think she meant that the moisture of her skin. I don't think the silk powder can cause dryer skin. It acts by absorbing oil not moisture.

I find it unnecessary now that it's cold out, but it's a godsend in summer. I have no idea if it is dehydrating though since my face seems permanently dehydrated except when it's 90 degrees out and I turn into a greaseball.

When I was not using ZB products, any sort of powder would make my skin feel bone dry... I think it has the potential to worsen dry skin conditions (especially if you are dehydrated too) but now that I am using Zenbiotic products, I can use copious amounts of silk dust and still not have flakies.
