Does anyone wear any of the CLEAN (brand) fragrances? Which is your favorite? I just bought one of the specials on HSN -- total impulse buy. See, I had to get in my one Valentine's Day present to me today, since I mistimed the arrival of the others. |

I like clean/fresh fragrances and one of my favs is Ralph Lauren blue which is a pretty clean floral scent. I also really like Cool Water which imo is also a clean/fresh scent. Another one of my favs is issey miyake pour homme which to me is fresh yet a little bit woody if you like that sort of scent. Basically RL blue would be my top pick for fresh scents and it's my rainy day fragrance. |

Sorry, I meant the company/brand is CLEAN. I am not talking about fragrances by other manufacturers/companies/brands that smell "clean".

I have the Clean original fragrance, but I found that 9/10 people hated the smell [even though I liked it!] and it got such strong bad reactions that I gave it away. |

ITA on the Clean original scent. I felt it smelled more soapy than my own shower soap. I got the Fresh Laundry scent; the components in the description appealed to me. I figure I will try it and can always swap it away if I don't like it. |

Okay, my CLEAN Fresh Laundry scent arrived. One good thing is that it did not smell soapy to me, which is what I didn't like about some of the other CLEAN scents. The name nails it -- I did smell like fresh laundry for about 2 hours after applying it -- IMO, the scent was overpowering in the beginning. That was a turn-off to me. But now that I am approaching the 3 hour mark, the scent has mellowed significantly and it is a faint clean laundry scent. I am not bowled over by it, so it may be going back to HSN. I have to find out if I can return something within the 30-day timeframe even if I have tried it and just don't like it. |

Well, ahem, thank you Marci for introducing me to another set of fragrances I will obsess about wanting to try. (Who wouldn't be intrigued and drawn by a name like CLEAN?)
I recently read about Trish McEvoy's fragrances having been designed so that they could be mixed and layered on top of each other, meaning wear more than one at a time. That sounded really cool to me. |

Well, I have to eat my words. For today at least. I figured I would plunge into this CLEAN Fresh Laundry scent today to try to make the keep/return decision. I sprayed *a lot* of it this morning on purpose, before I got dressed. It was a bit strong, but not overwhelming -- it's Eau de Parfum. It mellowed well; it smelled very nice, not much like laundry this time. Now, at the end of the day, it is light, clean and a bit citrusy smelling. So I am wondering if this fragrance works better on clean skin as opposed to end-of-day skin (which is what I whiffed it on yesterday). I am going to spray some refresher sprays now to see if it has the same impact on me as last night. |
