| Those of you that get Botox injections, do you know how much you pay per unit??? And how long do you go between injections?? |

I've found a local doctor in my town near Vancouver, BC, who charges $10/unit. About every three months, I have 40 units injected 'cause it just doesn't seem to last much more than that for me.
I've heard of one doctor in Vancouver that only charges $9/unit but that's only if you require 50+ units. At this point, that's a bit more than I require.
What are prices like where you live, Chrissie? |

| $8.00 and $9.00 per unit and I go 7-9 months in between. |

I have paid anywhere from $12.00 a unit up to $16.00 a unit, (but if you go 3 times, the 4th one is free. I know, RIP-OFF!)
I found a anti-aging skin physician who charges $10.00 a unit. I haven't used her yet, but need to get a touch up this highway known as my forehead.
AnnieR, I want some of that $8.00 Botox. How in the heck does it last 7-9 months. I can barely get 4 months out of 35 units. |

Just had it done yesterday in my Glabellar area and had to pay 9.00 per unit and they said it was on "special". Ouch!! I gues it had gone up and I didn't know it since it was last year I had it done. It is now 11.00 per unit on average here in Austin, Texas.
Mine lasts awhile since I have been having it done only on my 11's and chin muscles for about 4-5 years. I need fewer units and it seems to last longer as the muscle has retrained itself and I don't squint anymore when I am tired (or as bad as I used too). The chin area keeps me from chewing the inside of my teeth or clenching as it relaxes my jaw muscle. |
