for anyone who's looking for some extra (but gentle) oomph for exfoliation, natural ayate washcloths are great. they're excellent to use in the shower with just a little gentle soap on anywhere you wax and/or shave to help prevent ingrown hairs, and i think they'll probably help with kp also. best part is that unlike loofahs they're totally machine washable - i just throw mine in with the laundry every week (washer and dryer) so that there's no buildup of dirt and bacteria.h |

Do you buy these locally or do you have an online source? |

Is there a brand name to the ones you use, or is it just a general type of product? |

i'm not sure, shobha actually has its own website - shobhathreading.com - and you can buy them there, although my guess is that they're probably a bit more expensive than other websites. but, they're still fairly cheap, and last through washing after washing, so i would just go for it |

i'm not sure about those others, but i really do love the ayate - i would just say to make sure you can throw it in the wash, because otherwise gross bacteria build up . . . |

Ayate is woven from cactus fibers, the bamboo is made from bamboo. They are different. I did not see any ayate cloths on leafa.com. |
