Okay,
I have deep-set eyes with natural dark circles around them and pale skin. I'm in my 30's so the stick cover-ups I use to use are too drying now and cake off. I've been using Amazing cosmetics concealer and found it to be well worth the price. It's so opaque a little goes a long way so the tube lasts and lasts (I think it's been a year and I'm still on my original tube) but lately I noticed even it was drying up a bit by the end of a long day (thinking I need to find a loose powder to set it with that isn't drying). Until, I got a sample of Velvet Veil from MUAC -- wonderful stuff!! I don't wear foundation so I'd never thought to try a foundation primer but thank goodness for the free sample. When I put the Velvet Veil under my eyes first the concealer stays fresh all day. It looks the same as when I first put it on. And a little goes a LONG way - I'm still on the sample, haven't had to purchase a tube yet.
Now, can anyone recommend a powder to set the concealer with that isn't drying and won't react with the concealer and make it cakey? I've ordered some samples from Alima... |
