For those of you who use the Guerlain #0 Cupidon liner, have you ever thought about using other types of liners/colours to enhance the natural contours? There are various alternatives, such as using a matte nude/pale liner or if your skintone does not suit what is out there, using various eyeliner/shadow pencils for a greater colour range.
In the latest edition of VOGUE UK, the girls at the Donna Karan show actually use a gold pencil to highlight only the curve directly centre and partially into the lips - not extended across the top. This contrasted against lighter hues of pink creates a really effective and warm highlight. The item suggested was Shu Uemura's Drawing Pencil in Bronze Gold.
There was another article about enhancing the outline of the upperlip, by the way of using YSL's Touche Eclat across the lip line after applying lipstick to create a neat finish. You can then use Guerlain liner in Porcelain or Becca Nude liner to create a matte highlight across the cupidon.
I always use a clear liner (such as Lancome or Sally Hansen) around the lips to keep the other liners and lipstick in place. |

The Guerlain Cupidon is my HG lipliner! & I haven't used anything else that is similar yet. I was thinking of getting the Sally Hansen one next when my Guerlain one finishes, but seeing as you only need to use it on your cupid's bow, it will probably last ages imho!
Thanks for the tips too |
