I was browsing the aloe vera selections on GoW and read the following precaution under the
Aloe Vera Gel 99.9% Pure *Organic* page:
"NOTE: do not use aloe based products where staph or strep infections are because the aloe could promote the infection!"
Can anyone elaborate on this? I've never heard this before. |

I can elaborate...this was given to me as a request from my supplier. I can't find anything to back up this claim so I am going to remove it right now...
Sorry for the confusion!

Thanks for the clarification. I should have just emailed you directly... I thought it was a general caution/general "rule" for aloe vera or something that I was in the dark about. I wonder why your supplier req'd that you list that? (If you can't find anything to back it up... where did they get their info?) |

Hmmmm, good question! This was sometime ago
and I have since changed suppliers. As in
LONG time ago. I should have removed that but
haven't read it myself in forever. Thanks
for brining this to my attention. I am going
to keep searching for this school of thought
although I only find *positive* remarks
concerning this.
