After woorm diets, placenta creams, amniotic fluid toners and smeg skin boosters, I think we should have a thread for the weird and maybe wonderful. Couldn't put it in reviews as I have no intention of actually trying any of it... Well, I might, if you promise me it works! |

I'm almost (well not almost... I AM) ashamed to admit this but a few years back I bought my mum the Rejuvenique mask a.k.a. "Freddy vs Jason Hockey Mask". Had I read this http://infomercial.tvheaven.com/rejuvenique.htm and had I seen the actual pics of it I probably would have just laughed and kept looking for some other ridiculous thing.
I can't tell if it works though. It scares the hell out of my dad so mum's only ever used it a few times. It's gathering dust under her bed and probably no longer works anyway
What was I thinking??!! |

OMG! that's terrifying! and it didn't even work???
Personally I'm going to try and explore the benefits of smeg, especially as it's the body's own natural lubricant. I think it's going to have to be one of those things like drinking your own pee, that is one has to harvest it from ones own body ...still, shoul help with the old quality control worry |

I [i]think I know what you're trying to abbreviate, and have never heard of using that for anything ... nourishing. Nasty!
Here's something funny: at almost 30, I have been asked several times in the past few months for ID when buying liquor. Feels good, considering that the drinking age in Canada is 19. |

hey don't knock smegma, it's the 'body's natural lubricant' and apparantly the human race would cease to exist without it! can't think of it as being any grosser than placenta or urine. I think I would have to be assured that it was fresh though and not been collecting for 2 weeks <gag> |

Hey girls,
What is smeg and what is it supposed to do for your skin? |

smegma is the bodies own natural lubricant
this is a good site for the details about what it actually is...
http://www.foreskin.org/smegma.htm
but the site neglects to mention that it's also produced by women. I've been using my own and I have seen a definite improvement on the lines under my cheek bones |

Eeeeewwww! Please tell me you are joking! Just as I clicked on that link I took a sip of coffee. I almost threw up right on the keyboard!
Everybody musn't produce this - I know if I saw something like that coming out of me, I'd be at the doctor quicker than you could say hypochondria!
BLAH! |

I think that that site is sponsored by the circumcision lobby as in all my years, I've NEVER seen one like that, even when we were squatting and they turned the water off
But yes pbsadhaka, you too produce it and you'd surely know if you didn't, I mean do you like a dry crispy lettuce? |

I was checking some product or other in the EDS shop and scrolled down, you know EDS has links to the forum with some text, and whatever it said caught my interest and I clicked in and was pleasantly surprised to find such a personal and amuseing thread from the good old says |
