Just a note before the review-Not being an outdoor girl, I never used sunscreen except when I knew I'd be out and about for long periods of time--craft fairs, gardening, etc. So, being of a "certain age", I was quite flabbergasted to see dark spots cropping up on my hands, neck and face. I have recently learned that my 'puters were to blame. I have spent about 25 years planted in front of a computer screen. Did you know they are a source of UVA? I didn't until now.
Full name: Anti-Aging SPF 30 With Botox Alternative
Size: 4 oz.
Where purchased: NCN Skincare
How much? $36.00
Company’s Description Info:
Hydrates while offering full spectrum UVA/UVB protection. This daily all-in-one anti-aging SPF formula is truly special. Loaded with anti-oxidants Green Tea & Vitamin E, it also has the benefits of Botox Alternative (Argireline), Retinol, and Alpha Lipoic Acid! Don't leave home without it! 4 oz.
Our Anti-Aging SPF formula is just perfect for every day use. For outdoor sun and fun though, we feel that a water-resistant block is required. We're researching for the perfect one for you.
Texture/Consistency/Fragrance: Lotion with fast absorption rate. The fragrance is slightly floral (to me) and a little too strong for me at first but fades fairly fast. Still, I’d prefer a light citrus or fruity fragrance or, preferably, no fragrance at all. It’s these dadgummed scentsitivities (my non-word for scent-induced allergic migraines) of mine.
Ingredients:
Active: Octonoxate 7%, Titanium Dioxide 2%
Other: Green Tea Extract, Aloe Barbadenis Extract, Emulsifying Wax NF, Sorbitol, Isocetyl Stearate, Deionized Water DmDM Hydantoin, Lecithin, Rice Peptides, SD Alcohol 40, Iodorpropynyl Butycarbamate, Sodium Styrl Phthalate, Octyl Salicylate, Acetyl Hexapeptide 3 Argireline, Retinyl Palmitate, Silica, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Triethanoplamine Tocopheryl Acetate, Alpha Lipoic Acid.
Recommended Usage: Massage into skin after all other products every morning. Reapply as needed.
My skin type: Normal to oily (cheeks only) with tendency to dehydration if I don’t pay attention.
My Results: Most importantly-NO new “spots” since beginning its use and those were beginning to “crop up” regularly. Older damage is still having to be dealt with but the newer surface-only spots have stopped.
This product has also complimented my usual products very well. It is very hydrating and also seems to act like a “pusher” for my other actives and might be worth trying for those who don’t or can’t use pusher oils like Emu or Camellia. I’m not thrilled with the addition of the SLS or Argireline but they are, at least, far enough down the list of ingredients to suit me.
Conclusion: I will re-purchase this if I run out before the new SPF for oilier skin types is available. |

I just received a sample of this yesterday with my order. Maybe I will use this on my hands when outside gardening. Thanks for the post on this product. |

I've been using this product for several weeks and am very satisfied. One thing it doesn't do that I have had a problem with before is being sticky. |
