Hi everyone!
I just received Dior 5-color eyeshadow palette I ordered from strawberrynet.com and the packaging seems rather strange. It doesn't look the one I see on Dior website. Even my boyfriend says it looks kinda fake, so now I'm worried. Does anyone know if their stuff are authentic? Has anyone had a bad experience purchasing from them?
TIA! |

I've never had any problem ordering from them. The odd packaging may be due to the fact that the product was originally produced for a different country.... |

I’ve never had any problems either, and I’ve made lots of orders from them, enough to qualify for the maximum loyalty discount (something I wish EDS would do, in addition to or perhaps instead of the forum discount, but that’s another issue)
Strawberry do source from all over the world so the packaging may be different from what you’re used to? They are a pretty big company and I don’t think they would intentionally sell knock-offs. |

I've never had a problem with StrawberryNet and have ordered many times from them.
I did notice, however, that Dior has changed the packaging on their eyeshadow compacts recently, so it might just be that StrawberryNet still had the old packaging...
I wouldn't worry about it! |

I think they're authentic too. And that's right, a lot of Dior quints are discontinued (colors anyways) and were in old packaging. Usually the picture should show whether it's going to be in old/new packaging. A lot of old packaging ones are sold at really good prices on ebay! Dior changed their packaging a few times as well. |

Thanks everyone! Now I'm feeling less worried. I was recommended strawberrynet by a friend who had purchased from them many times before. Anyway, it's very possible that I just got the old packaging. |

I have used strawberrynet for years and never had a problem but e-mail if you are not sure they are great to reply. They offer great loyalty bonuses and they have great specials though some have a short expiration date. Some of their products are so reasonable and yes what I ever got was authentic. |

I have used SN for years and have bought over 40 items from them. I have found them all to be authentic and absolutely fresh.
I too just ordered a Dior 5-shadow and a lip palette from SN! |

I have ordered dozens of times from SN too and never had problems with authenticity BUT sometimes they source their products from different countries and are completely different to what is advertised on their website - in terms of packaging mainly. I bought a bottle of Omnia body lotion which was shown as in a tube but it came in a stupid pumpless bottle which means I won't be able to use at least a good 20% of it without shaking it vigorously towards the end. I sent in a complaint but I was only told that, according to their website T&C they have already stated that their products may be "parallel imported" and have slight variations in packaging and formulation sometimes... |

I have also used strawberry.net and have never experienced problems with their products. I even received different packaging a couple of times too which is what I expected. I just wish they listed their products' ingredients like they used to a few years back; that was handy. I assume they stopped doing that to cut back on costs.
But, andaman_gypsy, it looks like your mind has already been set at ease by all the others who have chimed in on their positive experiences with strawberry.net. |

iv never ordered from them as they are based in HK, which i dont 100% trust (no offence there) cos when im in HK, there are so many fake stuff...bags, shoes, SKINCARE and there are loadsa things from mainland china that has illegal substances/acids that they put in the creams to make ur skin "look nice". |

All I'll say is that HK has a free market, and a good portion of the time, things are bought from authorized retailers, and resold by businesses in HK. |

I have ordered from them 30+ times & I am definitely convinced their products are 99.999% authentic & genuine. I think they get a lot of people/customers asking them this question, but personally I have always been very pleased with their products & service! |

I have ordered many many times from SN (being in Hong Kong, I enjoy their additional 10% 'local' discount and also the loyalty discount). So far I am happy with their services - competitive prices and prompt deliveries. The only problem is that they very often do not carry the 'top' items of all brands. |

I have found their service to be very quick & efficient in all aspects. However some of my friends have complained that they take too long to respond to emails, but I've never experienced this & have probably emailed them well over 10 times too! |

Strawberry net is great because you can get your skincare, hair and perfume products all at the one store. My friends and family love the store - very quick delivery. But you cant beat EDS skincare products tho |

Some time ago, "Today Tonight" (a current affairs type tv program in Australlia) ran a story on fake cosmetics/skincare products being sold - Strawberrynet was mentioned in the story - I'm not exactly sure which products were proven to be fake so I won't post the brand here. I can't comment on Strawberrynet's involvement only that I remember that some of the products were sourced from there. |

I've ordered many things too over the years - skincare, makeup and perfume. I've never had an issue, and can say that the perfume I bought was Chanel, before my older one ran out, and they were exactly the same as far as I could smell....packaging and everything.
