Recently I have noticed that the pores on the sides of my nose have been getting significantly larger. They look way worse when I have makeup on, and a primer is only helping a little bit.

I haven't been doing anything different, and I don't have any clogged pores in that area. It really looks like someone used my nose as a pin cushion. I'm starting to see more and more of them as well. I even have two joined together on the top of my nose that actually look like a line Sad

Actually there is one thing I have been doing different- using the PSF pumpkin peel- but I don't think that is what would have caused them?
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can use to help reduce these pores?
Thanks
CG

Your nose sounds like my nose, even the conjoined pore line on the top. I would use a sheer liquid foundation on my entire face, then use a thick foundation just on my nose to fill in the pores so that the skin would appear smooth. It looked good as long as I was wearing make-up. So I've been using EpidermxII for about a month and I do like it but haven't noticed a difference in my pore size. I just started using Dr H cleansing cream last week to see if that would help, and I can already see a difference. I can still see the pores, even the line, but the depth of the pores has decreased and I'm hoping they will completely disappear.

I have significantly reduced the size of my facial pores (most noticeably the ones on my nose) by using a Lactic Acid peel once a week.

For me, I find that using a BHA - I use Diana Yvonne's exfol serum - once every other day, or once every two days -- *not* everyday -- has helped to clear out the pores on my nose. I was using the BHA everyday, and it made things worse, so I quit using it. However, when I started again with it only every other day, it really helped.

Rare Minerals from Bare Escentuals does a remarkable job of reducing the appearance of large pores.

I don't use the puff attachment on the top of the jar. You can unscrew the jar and remove the powder to a small sample container. I use a sythetic concealer brush to apply the Rare Minerals to my nose at night. It comes in clear and colors and you use it at night. There's a different ingredient in the clear, but I can't remember what it is but I got some samples from Sephora and liked the color a lot better. The clear kind of has a frosted look - hard to explain.

If you live near a Sephora or BE store - ask them to make you up a little sample - it lasts a really long time and you'll be able to see a difference in a week.

My nose is a problem also. I have not been using an exfoliator that much and this could be part of the problem. Because I like to buy more time to sleeping in the morning, I don't have the time to mix Baking Soda with Cetaphil (gentle) to make my scrub as part of my A.M. routine.

I just ordered Kate in a Jar from Kate Somerville and it will be interesting to see how well it works. What got my attention on this product is that you only use it for 30 seconds or less and it still works.

I will write my review later. BTW, I found that when I started using Vivier Vit. C, the tone of my skin looked so much better and firmer! I was also using at the time, Sonya Dakar Omega 3 oil and found that made my pores look a lot better. Using Omega 3 oil on top of your oily skin will not clog your pores and found it to control my oily skin a lot better.

Nice to have the topic to be discussed. I have the problem too and would like to know how ladies here take care of it. As far as myself is concerned, I have regular C serum, creme and do not put specical dose to deal with the problem.
