I'm looking for someone who has used both of these lines. In particular, if you could compare Cellcosmet Ultra Vital with Valmont L'Elixir Des Glaciers and Cellcosmet Eye Contour Cream with Valmont L'Elixer Des Glaciers Eye Cream.

Thank you! Smile

Tam, I don't believe that you should compare those products because Valmont L Elixir face and eye creams are the top of the Valmont range and really are unique products. I have used both the L Elixir products and believe they are simply the best skin care there is. I have not used Cellcosmet Ultra Vital but I have tried the Cellcosmet eye cream and while I thought it was nice, it made my eyes puffy and I found it did not absorb very well on my skin. Let's hope you get some opinions from other users.

Perhaps I shouldn't try to compare them. I'm very happy with Cellcosmet, but I'm starting to feel that urge to try something new. I'm intrigued by Valmont, but I want someone to justify the price difference for me. Laughing

Bushy, are you still using Vamont L'Elixir Des Glaciers (either one)?

oh, I'm using valmont and anxious to try Cellcosmet. Very Happy
Cellcosmet does not have any serum, so the price of cream is normally lower than Valmont serum + cream.

Definitely. If it weren't for the price I would use it all the time but I use both around 3 times per year. (at 2 months usage each time).

Can I ask your opinion of what I am considering then..... I was thinking of using Cellcosmet in the morning and Valmont at night. Would you do that; and if not, please let me know why.

Thank you!!

Tam, you could certainly use Cellcosmet in the morning and Valmont at night. The reason I haven't used Ultra Vital is because it is too rich for my oily skin. I have had a few other samples of Cellcosmet moisturisers and they are also too rich for my skin. I would be happy to try some other Cellcosmet moisturisers if I knew which one would suit oily skin. From the descriptions given, the only ones that seem to suit oily skin are those for younger skins and I think I need a bit more than that at my age.
I should also add that I do use the Cellcosmet Gel cleanser, activator, tonic and exfoliant and love them.

I used the Cellcosmet line for about 6 weeks and while I liked the cleansing gel, toner and activating gel. I found that the moisturisers and eye creams did nothing for my skin. My pores were enlarged and they left my skin very greasy looking.

I have since changed to remergent and valmont and I really love remergent. It has brightened my skin and it is in great condition. I went for a facial last week and the facialist said that my skin was in very good condition . It must be doing something right.

I have only used two of the mentioned product:
Cellcosmet Eye Contour Cream and Valmont L'Elixer Des Glaciers Eye Cream.

To date I have used two generous samples of each. For my mature skin Cellcosmet Eye did nothing for me. The Valmont Eye cream is absolutely gorgeous (and well it should be). Fine lines around my eyes just seemed to vanish. The cream melted into my skin and left my eye area soft, hydrated and rested.

Many on the forum rave about Cellcosmet. You just need to find what product suits your particular needs.

hey there.. I have not used anything from Valmont but I'm going to make my first purchase soon.. I have used just about everything from Cellcosmet. I really do think you have to be in the right age group to you use their products as they are designed. I did try the ultra vital. it's very rich! and I believe the highest in the "cell count" (24%) I used it for about 2 weeks and did notice that my skin was smoother but it was just a little to active for me I'm 25. I do however love cellcosmets cleansers and toners. over all it's a great line for someone with a dry to normal skin type I do love the smell but rather products be fragrance free.

I prefer Cellcosmet waayyy over valmont. It's more suited to my skin type. It evens out my skin tone and keeps it hydrated during the winter months and when I have late nights drinking!!! I've never come across a better product.

Thank you all very much for the comparison, I have been using cellcosmet eye cream for almost two years now and was wondering if I should try Valmont L'Elixir Des Glaciers eye cream, I think I should.

I am probably a bit biased towards Valmont but the L'Elixir Des Glaciers eye cream is one of the very best eye creams and I much prefer it to the Cellcosmet one.

Does anyone know where I can find a sample kit of the Valmont products mentioned in this thread, before taking the plunge on the full size ones?

I think Cellcosmet's products are more suitable for younger people than Valmont's. I'm 28 and I'm using Cellcosmet Eye Contour Cream right now. I love it so much. Maybe I should try some samples of Valmont L'Elixer Des Glaciers Eye Cream.

If you really were familiar with Cellcosmet products then you would realise that your comment regarding Cellcosmet is totaly incorrect. Cellcosmet has products for different age groups and this is well advertised.
And if you "love" the Cellcosmet eye cream "so much", why would you want to try Valmont.
Unless, of course, you are just adding to your post count perhaps?
