Does anyone know if CoQ10 neautralizes Alpha Hydroxy Acid, and Glycolic Acid, Salcilyic Acid, Vit A and Vit E and Copper.
I can't find any literature addressing this.
I've looked up some things and appears it DOES NOT. There are plenty of creams that have these combos in them, so I'm guessing not. |

I believe I have some serums (Juice Beauty is one of them I think) that has CoQ10 in it along with Vit. A and glycolics. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's ok to use with other acids.
ALso, the serum has Vit. C in it since it's an antioxidant serum. |

Yeah...I did a search with it and coupled it with one of these at a time, and indeed found creams available with CoQ10 and each of these in it. So, I am assuming it's all good

I take this as a vitamin I wonder whether it would be OK to break open a capsule and mix with my creams. |

Is this the same COQ10 that is a supplement of some kind??? I think to make your brain work better??? Does it work for that? Not sure about the product-type, but I have seen it in a lot of products, so am interested in what others say... |

CoQ10 is primarily an antioxidant. Our bodies naturally produce the antioxidant coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), but as we age, less is produced. CoQ10’s benefits are as varied as its abilities: It helps strengthen the heart, prevents hardening of the arteries and reduces gum inflammation
When CoQ10 production slows down, so does the body’s ability to produce collagen, elastin and other molecular structures that give skin a youthful appearance. Beauty products take advantage of CoQ10’s ability to fight free radicals and improve skin-cell regeneration.

I have added from my capsules. I let it set in jojoba oil for a while to dissolve it. It may dissolve in warmed glycerin too, I haven't tried it though. CoQ10 is not water soluable so I wouldn't just dump it into some cream. It might be very grainy. Also if there are silca fillers in your capsules (a lot of caps have this) they may not dissolve and might be grainy. |
