hi all!

my mum's in her late 40s and shes blessed with young looking skin! maybe cos of that she doesnt care about her skin at all Rolling Eyes . but im MAKING her use some beauty products!!! ...but its usually the stuff that i dont want Laughing
so im now looking into buying her some new stuff more suited for her skin type Very Happy and i need ur help!
my mum is LAZY...but actually she works like 24/7 so she doesnt have time to have a regime, so her products need to be fast and easy to apply..she once said that serums are annoying cos shes so used to just using a moisturiser!
cos shes so fussy, im only looking to get her a serum and a moisturiser...she cleanses with water and a flannel and doesnt even use eye cream (but suprisingly she doesnt really have crows feet)
anyway...my mum has got normal skin, a few wrinkles, she doesnt break out from using new products and doesnt get acne. her main concern are the sun/age spots on her cheeks and so she WANTS to get rid of them right now!!!
any recs for a serum (which do not need any waiting time) and moisturiser for age spots? nothing that expensive tho, im struggling with the bills Mad
ooo, maybe u know any other time saving tips too?
TIA Very Happy

I'd recommend a Vitamin C serum and a really good quality sunscreen. She can apply the sunscreen directly after the serum has absorbed. Vitamin C will fade the sunspots over time, helps with skin texture and overall blotchiness, and the sunscreen will keep new damage at bay.

EDS carries several good C serums--Cellularskin-rx makes a very stable one that is pretty inexpensive as skin products go.

Using a good sunscreen is an absolute must for her. Vitamin C does require a waiting time of around 20 minutes before applying anything on top - you can apply things earlier than that, but 20 minutes gives it time to do it's work.

Remergent Clarifying product can be applied as a spot treatment to her sun damage. She might also benefit from Remergent DNA Repair - you just need to wait for it to sink in properly before applying moisturiser. This doesn't take long.

hmm, maybe i can find a good moisturiser with vit-c, that would cut out the waiting time of vit-c serums
she does need sunscreen but not when shes working all night and day and dont even see the sun Rolling Eyes

Yeahyeah: If she doesn't like all the muss and fuss, Dr Hauschka is for her! So simple and effective and doesn't require a lot of extra products. I'll warn you though, some of the individual products are pretty pricey. But overall, since you use very little at a time and don't have to use a lot of different lotions and potions, it's actually very economical IMO. They have trial kits that let you try the basics for like, $20 USD. I love Dr Hauschka!! I have normal, mature skin and was fed up with all the time I was spending on my face - this is so easy! HTH fawnie Very Happy

Skin Medica's Dermal Repair Cream has Vitamin C, I believe. And E too. Not as much C as their serum. I like their C serum too.

Another option could be the NIA24 products - a scrub, moisturizer, & sunscreen. They might have added a cleanser.

Kinerase Cream is nice too and comes with or without sunscreen.

For a mess expensive line - I like PCA Skincare. It has many options for cleansers and moisturizers. Also they have trial size kits you can buy to try the products. I love their creamy cleanser.
