I didn't see it mentioned here and I really like their products.
I'm using the mandelic serum and exfol a forte. They are really good.
I'd love to try their masks, eyecream and spintrap.
Has anyone had any experience with them? |

I use the Mandelic and love it. Really keeps those blackheads away for me. I don't use it all over, just on my nose, where no matter what I do those pesky Blackheads seem to want to live. |

I use the Mandelic acid on spot large pore areas and it really helped. I wrote a thread on this. |

I use it on my forehead and nose to tighten pores, and cheeks for hyperpigmentation. My chin and nasiolabial lines don't like it. |

I use the Exfol A and just started using the Spin Trap. I've been using the Exfol A a couple of months and will probably move up to the Forte soon. I only just started using the Spin Trap, so I really can't give an opinion on it yet. |

Hi Ibianca
I had a bit of an affair with Vivant last year, especially with the Mandelic. It certainly has an instant WOW factor and I got a load of compliments when I used it, unfortunately it is in the end extremely drying. I'm a normal to dry person so that's not surprising, but Scallywaggirl is oily and she's given up daily use of it too. For me it also contributed to extreme sun sensitivity, but again that's my skin type. Like Sharky I've got a stubborn pore on my nose and I thought the Mandelic was reducing it, but since I gave up acids it's looking no worse, in fact a little better.
In the end I don't feel I really got much in terms of long-term benefit from the Mandelic (I was only using it 3 times a week max though), though in the short term it certainly is beautifying.
I also went through one pot of Spin Trap, which wasn't drying, but had a slightly dry, egg-whitey finish which didn't suit me, but oilies might appreciate that in the moister summer months. It was just as effective as any good C&E serum though no supernatural powers.
I've got some Exfol A and I quite like it; it's very gentle compared to the Mandelic but I've only used it occasionally so can't comment beyond that.
There's a long review/discussion of Mandelic here, over in reviews

Hi Molly,
I have not used Vitain A product before & would like to use it in the evening but not yet decided which one I'd give it a try.
In my city, Ysthéal, Eluage & Diacnéal are available. However, it seems to me that Exfol-A of Vivant is very nice too.
I have oily skin & been using Neostarta glycolic acid 15% twice a week & think I can tolerate a bit aggressive one.
What do you think I should try: Avene or Vivant, as you have use Vivant before?
Also, I will purchase Vivant Mandeli Acid to tighten my large pores (they are even bigger than the tip of a ball pen). |

Just noticed that the last post of Molly was in July 2007.
Has there anybody used both Avene & Vivant products before? Any advice is welcome! |
