Recently I have been trying to take better care of my skin.
Usually in the spring and Fall my skin is oiler than normal due to the weather changes. However, I am noticing that my skin is tighter this spring. I have also noticed more fine line especially around my eyes.
Do you think that I need more moister in my skin?
In the morning I wash my face with Lancome cleanser, then I apply my homemade vitamin c serum followed by age Defiance serum mixed with lumitone ( both by Aloette) I usually let it absorb into my skin for 2 minutes as I brush my teeth and then I use three pumps of Vichy moisterizer.
What should I do? |

I would recomend emu oil, last on top of everything in the eve. Even through the oilier times. It tends to be very hydrating, without being oily. |

I tried adding my jojoba oil to my serums last night
I think it is better
Generally I only use the jojoba oil in the winter when I need the extra moisterizer due to the harsh climate here in Toronto.
Maybe my skin has gotten use to that level of moister and that is why it was a little drier recently? |

Hi!
Do you use your Vitamin C serum once or twice per day?
If you use it twice per day, try cutting back to once... If you already use it once per day, try cutting back to 3 times a week and see if that makes a difference.
Vitamin C can sometimes have a drying effect on the skin and you may be one of the unlucky ones that experiences this effect.
Also, maybe consider a hydrating mask. I like Ice Elements Blueberry Fusion mask which is made with a base of pharmaceutical grade aloe vera. Since you like Alloette products you will probably like that this mask has the aloe base, and I think that you will find it quite soothing and hydrating to your skin.
Take care.

Bosoxy,
My Blueberry mask sat in my cabinet for the longest time before I used it the other night. I do break out from some of the C serums myself so I only use them where my skin is the most dry and at night. I got a sample of the Edelweiss cream and loved it. I've put the serum on first then some cream. It's made a difference on the neck. |

Hi Rufus!
Did you like the mask?
Sometimes I do put it on and let it sit for an hour, but I usually get lazy and go the quick route in the shower... It still feels good!
Did you see the note from Shelly on the IE site that EDS is going to be carrying IE products? I am not sure exactly when or which products, but I think it will be great, especially for those of you in Canada!
Take care.

I agree with SandraG. Emu oil does a wonderful job when my skin gets dry and tight. Remember to drink lots of water also. |
