Hi, I'm wondering if any of you ladies are familiar with White Thai Mud and if anyone would know where or how to purchase.
TIA

I've never heard of it -- What's it supposed to do? |

Yogi, a friend of mine who lives out East makes body products. She's just heard of some Thai products that contain thai mud and candle nuts so she's been searching for a supplier and coming up empty handed. I'm not sure of the specifics.

Found this on the Thai herbs website:
Thai White Mud
Thai White Mud (Din So Pong) was traditionally used ad talcum powder after shower. It offers cooling, healing and protecting natural body and face treatment for centuries. Not really like a mud but more like a thick white chalk, it effervesces in water also has pleasant smell and traditionally. Din So Pong helps draw out impurities, heals wounds, clears rashes. |

Oh I know what Din So Pong is! I didn't know the translation into English as Thai White Mud. LOL I saw Thai women put this on after they shower when I was a kid. I used to swear I'd not get anywhere close to that thing as it looked mighty scary. I know you can get this at any convenience store in Thailand. It's very easy to find. |

Holy cow! That's expensive. This thing is really cheap in Thailand. Maybe I should buy some when I go back to Thailand, and sell them here. hehe |

I think she's looking more for the unfinished stuff. Nothing already formulated. Looks interesting though.
