I have found many odd brands in my searches for 'miracle' cream. Each one I have mentioned so far, someone has heard of or used.
How about this one: La Laminaria? Says made by AESF in the Russian Federation. The label itself is in ( I assume) Russian. I got this on ebay, is said to contain vits ACDEB1B2B12, also polysaccarides from seaweed. Claims to stimulate restoration of skin cells, prevent aging, heal and antibacterial! All that for just $27AUD. I have bought it but not used it yet ,as I dont like the strong grassy smell.
Anyone else had luck with it? |

Hi Juliemarie,
I've never heard of the product you mention ... but my "gut reaction" to your initial post is that if the "strong grassy smell" was off-putting, then chances are it isn't worth using.
What's more ... just because a cream has certain actives in it ... doesn't mean that the actives are the right actives for skin ... or that it's the right combination for your skin.
I suppose it really depends upon what it is you want a given cream/preparation to do.
My skin has a real problem with emulsifiers ... and as a result commercial creams are a no-no for me. So it wouldn't matter if all the right actives were in a cream ... if there are emulsifiers in it ... that cream isn't going to work for me.
In my experience, however, there is no one "miracle" product that will work as it claims it will for everyone who tries it. If such a thing existed, there wouldn't be so many diverse variations on the market.
Just my thoughts ...

So true Mary!
Yes it had a strong smell and green colouring! I dont think I will put it on my face, but I will try it on my neck area (away from my nose )
My view is also that any great products would evaporate quickly if just in a wide neck jar, like this. I think packaging has a lot to do with preserving ingredients. |
