Those of u who are interested in skin lightening pills, please read the postings by "Anonymous" "Amor" and "Sam" under:

http://skincarerx.com/rosacea/read.php?f=4&i=16585&t=7816

I tried glutathione with Vit C & Alpha Lipoic Acid, to remove hyper-pigmentation on my face, but experienced some bad side-effects. I would suggest CAUTION when eating these pills. Be safe guys Rolling Eyes

TO BE FOREWARNED IS TO BE FOREARMED!!!

I don't understand the concept of how ingesting something can make your skin more fair,"whiten" it, etc. To my knowledge, there is nothing systemic that can change a person's skin. (remember those ridiculous tanning pills from about 20 years ago?) If you're ingesting something, and you're seeing results, it's probably due to the ingredients making you queasy & peaked-looking. Or ... hey ... why not just take Arsenic?!?! Embarassed or some other form of toxic poison? `Guaranteed to make you ghoulishly-white! Rolling Eyes

Note: during the French Renaissance, it was the fashion to wear white make-up for pale look. However, this powder contained lead. Uh-oh ... it would eat through the skin, creating sores, and ultimately poison the vain, fashionable wearer. Nice.
People would also shave off their eyebrows, and apply brows fashioned out of mouse pelts. :-&
