I watched this news story last night about a woman who used the RENU with Moisture Lock for her contact lens solution. She subsequently developed a severe swelling and blurriness in her right eye, and now she's losing that eyesight. The doctor said she got some fungus in the eye, and it was causing her blindness. She believed it was from the RENU she used. Bausch & Lomb had since recalled the product in April 06. (I guess it's a belated story!)

But I wasn't aware of this story, and last year (don't recall when) I received a sample of RENU with MoistureLoc. I don't wear contacts, so I don't use it, but I saved it for my girl friend who sometimes comes over. I'm glad I never had the opportunity to let her use it. After I watched this story on TV last night, I threw out that RENU solution right away. |

Whatever's on sale. =) My eyes are dry sometimes, and my doctor recommended Alcon; it's in that curvy blue bottle. I usually just use a generic brand when they're not bothering me. |

I use a brand called Complete. My doctor recommended it, as I have issues with my contacts drying out during my long workdays staring at a computer screen.
I've had a really good experience with it, compared to brands I've used in the past. |

I thought this type of solution was banned but somehow, it is back with different packaging, but I always avoid buying it... just buy regular type. |
