it is very good, do not make my skin allergic
also it is cheap. It is much more convenient to use a real aloe. |

I always have a tube of aloe vera gel (98% pure) by Jason natural in my bathroom. I slap it on whenever my sensitive skin acting out. It is cheap too. |

ykl, I think it'd be much more helpful if you were to post the brand of the aloe vera you bought, and other relevant info like price, where you bought, ingredients, how you use it. |

I just re-read your post. Is the brand actually called Aloe Pura? At first glance, I thought you wrote Aloe Vera! Who made this? |

Do you have a link to the Aloe Pura Gel? I use AVG in my hair, to help with fly-aways. The brand I've been using for years supposedly changed the formula and added more "stuff" to what was previously a nice pure formula. So I'd like to check out your option. |

I use Lily of the Desert AV Gelly, too. Several months back, people were posting on one of the skincare forums that the ingredients changed. My bottle is fairly old, but still not expired, so I am going to use the old formula. How long ago did you buy your bottle/tube? |

I've had my bottle for about a year now. I got it from Whole Foods. I will have to check out what the newer bottles say. |

I buy mine from Whole Foods, too, so that will be interesting to see what you find out. |

Yes, the ingredients have changed. I went to a Health Food store over the weekend and the new bottles have a lot more ingredients. I can't seem to find an updated list on the internet.
