HI...if anyone can help that will be wonderful.
what are some ways that worked for you to lose the cellulite around the thigh and butt area? i'm working out 2 hours a day four times a week and i've been starting to eat less than before. But i'm still not losing the weight and my cellulite. |

hate cellulite, especially when its bathing suit season. Try drinking plenty of water, that is what i've started doing... havent seen results just yet though. Something like 90% of women have cellulite, even if u are skinny. Also i heard crossing your legs while sitting can cause cellulite as well. |

Dry skin brushing is supposed to be one of the best ways to help get rid of cellulite.
If you are working out so much a week and not losing weight, are you gaining muscle instead? With that much exercise you should be losing weight. |

Unfortunately, I think the only way to get rid of cellulite is to start life over with new parents--its all in the genes or jeans which ever way you look at it... |

I disagree. I have it yet, yet no-one else does in my family.
I think it's mainly down to lifestyle. |

I second the dry skin brushing. Search the forum, there's a couple of threads about it. Definitely makes a difference. |

Take a look at the post that I just put up called the "Food and Workout Log Sheet". It tells you not what to eat, but what ratio of foods to eat in order to reach your body goals. Until you track EVERYTHING you eat, you have no idea if you are eating well or not. Filling out a sheet like this will definitely open your eyes, and get you on the right track to the fitness goals and body shape you are looking for. Also notice that it has spaces for at least 6 meals a day. Eating small meals spaced out over the entire day is a better way of getting your metabolism fired up to use food more efficiently and to burn fat.

"Eating Less" is exactly the WRONG thing to do. When you eat less, you send a signal to your body that "starvation" has set in, therefore, "I had better store fat to survive". And your body will, which ends up as cellulite and fat on other areas of the body. What you have to do is speed up the metabolism to burn fat. This is done by spacing small meals through the entire day. If your goal is to burn fat, then you need to be eating far more protein than carbohydrates. Excess carbs gets stored as fat, especially if you don't work out to burn off the excess carbs in the form of energy. Extra protein will help build and maintain muscle. Muscles require energy to work and therefore burn carbs. The more muscle you have, the more energy it takes and therefore the more effective your body becomes as a fat burning machine. As a matter of fact, the muscles require energy 24 hours, 7 days a week and so you even burn fat while you are sleeping!
Double check what you are eating. Change the ratio to much more protein and much less carbs. Then, eat the higher protein meals spaced out evenly 6 or 7 times per day. If you have to pack a small cooler with food to do this, do it. And of course, work out to help build and maintain muscle.
This will work. I've seen it time and again on people who were extremely overweight, and it worked for them.

to help minimize the look of cellulite is to get a tan. I find that when i'm tanned, the look of my cellulite on my legs appear less. With a tan, your flaws are more covered up. |

I thought exercise and drinking lots of water will get rid of cellulite (and of course eating right - no empty calorie stuff, and eating whole grain and nuts). I don't have any cellulite, and I think it's because I walk a lot and TRY to drink a lot of water. I don't drink too much soda. |

Don't mess with it. It did nothing for me and another member here, although there were a few good reviews on MUA. I think this is the weakest cellulite cream I've ever tried. |

Thanks! I knew it was too good to be true. I have never found a product that has worked on my stubborn cellulite. I think a good diet, exercise and drinking lots of water is the best treatment. I think I will try the dry brushing, I've heard it's very good for circulation anyway. |

I have been drinking about 2 to 3 glasses of green tea a day since about this time last year, and I've found that my cellulite has decreased. Not that I had much to begin with...but it would be nice to be COMPLETELY free from it! I think I'm going to start the dry skin brushing, on my belly. |

I tried M6 (kind of machine) treatment. It works for me.
But in the long run, I still have to do exercises regularly. |

i've tried those L'oreal patches for cellulite and it did absolutely nothing. I just started to use Cellex-C cellulite treatment, its only been a couple days. I use it in the morning and at night, so far no results, but it has only been a couple days. Will report back to how it goes |

I've been dry brushing faithfully for a year or so now and have been really pleased with the results. I do it about twice a day, though sometimes I lapse, of course. I also use Weleda's Birch Anti-cellulite body oil every few days. I think my skin looks more toned, and fresher (i.e., not dull).
BCgirl, dry brushing is just using a brush (I use a medium bristle body brush) without water or lather. I start with my feet and brush in long, upward strokes. Once you get used to it, it feels great--invigorating and refreshing. Sometimes I finish with a body toner (like Dr. H or Weleda rosemary toner). |

I agree with Cuddles on this: the genes factor is true.
I have a goal to lose 30 lbs - but my concern is remaining cellulite on my arms and legs |
