Hi ladies,
Excellent Forum...have spent the last few days at work reading, reading...so I thougth perhaps all you wise women could give me some advise...

For years I have had a problem with a pimplely bottom and I have dark skin between my thighs and what looks like ingrown hairs (very fine hairs) but also look like pimples / rash. sometimes they can be lumpy and if I squeeze I do get some white stuff come out...the same as pimples on your face. sorry not a nice topic.
As you can imagine this has left a few scars on my behind and thighs...so there goes my centrefold career. Crying or Very sad

Any recommendations as to what could help keep the pimples at bay and reduce the discoloration I have.

I am currently using a acne wash with salicylic acid from DDF and exfoliate regularly. Have used Benzoyl Peroxide washes.
I wash reg as I think maybe sweating, wearing pants in an office environment and sitting at a desk all day can't help.
Are there any peels available to buy that I can use myself.
thanks
Smile

Decleor Alguaromes bath and shower gel was FANTASTIC at getting rid of tiny white pimples I got on the tops of my arms, and also checked any breakouts on the back and shoulders, so may be worth a go?

This may sound a bit odd. Are you sure that they are pimples? There is a condition called Molluscum Contagiosum that produces pimply-looking raised growths that also when squeezed will produce white sebum-like matter. It is caused by a virus and while very common in children under 8 (picked up at public swimming pools, etc.) is fairly rare in adults. Usually the older immune system will recognize the virus over time and then will start developing immunity to it over time. Try doing a search on the term and see if the pictures look like what you have. If not....sorry to waste your time.

hmm have you tried using exfoliator gloves along with some moisturising body wash while you're in the shower? maybe not every day, but a couple of times a week. where you are getting these 'pimples' may be because your pores are a little blocked and need a bit of help to clear out?

I get the exact thing on the back of my thighs if I don't exfoliate regularly. The best thing to do is have a good body scrub with AHAs (I use MD Formulations Face & Body Scrub. The AHAs will also help fade any scaring you might have.

It'll also make it easier to get rid of them if you incorporate dry body brushing. You should see an improvement in about 2-3 weeks.

thanks for your responses. I checked the internet for pictures of Molluscum Contagiousum...and nope doesn't look like that at all...but glad you mentioned...cause you never know. Have tried dry brushing...but get lazy after about a week or so. Will get serious with the dry brushing..have some of the MDF hand and body lotion..will need to buy the body exfoliant. Have been to a dermatologist(for eczema/bacterial foliculitis on my back)...who didn't seem too concerned about the thighs and bottom. Also a endocrinologist...who asked if I was Polycystic....hmmmm. Will need to investigate further...It's not extreme...but it's something I would like to control.

I get this sometimes on my inner thigh. I have noticed that in my case it is cyclical. I also thought it was due to friction.
