Hi, all
Has anyone tried the Jansen Becket spa products, like the creams, Hyaluranic Ampules,
Collagen ampules, or firming eyecreams that are NOT Alpha Derma CE?
Just curious.

yes! I'm using the eyelid ampules and I have the hyaluronic ampules, exfoliator and DMAE/ALA body lotion. Again can't fault the products, packaging is nothing fancy but I'd prefer the money went in to the product rather than a pretty box.
the HA ampules are lovely for when you're feeling tired and dehydratd as they really seem to plump out the lines. |

I wanted to, but have found their customer service to be "less than desirable"...so I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Just wanted to give input into the Jansen Beckett C+C serum I've been using.
It's a thick, kinda gloopy consistency. I didn't mind it at all, but I know some people prefer watery consistency in their Vit C serums. It doesn't feel sticky. A few drops covers my face and neck.
I've been using it for about 5 weeks now. Before I used Pro-Heal from ISC, then a sample size of Super Serum and a sample size of Candessence C+E Ferulic. Vit C serums don't seem to have much effect on my skin, but I did notice that the JB serum smoothed out and firmed me slightly. Didn't help my acne and congestion at all though.
It's a bit pricey, so I am not ordering. (I got a travel size as a free gift). |

If you interested in this brand I recommend you to try on 5 day sample pack. It sold on EDS. you can try it before you buy in full size. |

Some of the products aren't bad, but I would NOT buy from them directly. Their customer service is horrible. Very inefficient operation. |

I received their Vitamin C&C serum as a free gift and used it but won't repurchase. It's too expensive and the texture is too thick for my taste, I prefer a more watery base.
I use their Organic Skin Toner and absolutely love it! Have repurchased since and will repurchase in the future. See my review for more detail.
I also use and like the night cream. It's a little too rich to use all over my face, but I spread it on my neck and chest. Like most of their products, a little goes a long way. I've only had this for a couple weeks, so I can't tell you whether it's made any difference in skintone and/or texture yet.
Overall, I like this line very much. JB delivers what it promises at a reasonable price point. |

I just wanted to say hello to everyone. This is a very informative site, enjoying all my browsing... I have a quick question--I have been reading quite a bit about the Jason Beckett products and I am interested in purchasing, seems a lot of people suggest buying the sample pack. Where do you find the best place to purchase this? Would I go directly to their site or is it purchasable through here?
Thank you in advance

Jancy27, welcome to the boards!
You can purchase the Janson Beckett sample pack right here on EDS. Just click on the Essential Day Spa logo on the top left of this page and you will get into the product listings.
I ordered the samples a few months ago and loved the products so much, I ordered full size. |

Debster,
Thank you so much for your reply. I will give the samples a try and I am sure I will probably love it and buy all the full sizes. Is there a price difference when ordering on this site compared to ordering direct?
Thanks Again

You're welcome.
I think the price is about the same here at EDS. I prefer ordering from here because of the great customer service. |

Thanks again Yes I could't find it at first then I did notice Alpha Derma, but I am sure that would of been my next question... Well I really appreciate your help..another thing I noticed the 3 package for 80.00. Would you think in your opinion that it would be better to get that than the 5 day sampler? Can you actually see any results in only 5 days?? or do you feel you can tell if you like the product in that short amount of time?

Hi Jancy and welcome! There's not enough in the sample to see results, but at least it'll indicate whether or not this is something you can incorporate into your daily routine. When I first tried it in March, I jumped in and bought the $80.00 set you're looking at, the high performance anti-aging system. At the time, EDS was giving the C&C serum as a free gift with $85.00 purchase, so I also bought the Organic toner as well. Link to my review of that product http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=23383&highlight=organic+toner
Within about 3 weeks, I noticed creases on my forehead have gotten shallower; after 8 weeks, friends and family noticed a difference as well.
Good luck! |

The Five Day Sample's will at least let you know if you like the way the products react to your skin. Looking back three years I knew within a few day's that I absolutely loved the products. Good thing I loved them as I purchased full sizes. I suggest you try before you buy as we are all so different. Janson Beckett does give out samples. You could buy something from their site in the JB line or their Spa items. With purchase I am sure they would send you small samples of several of their products.
EDS offers the five day sample with Janson Beckett purchase. Perhaps they even have the smaller JB samples that they would send you with any companies purchase.

I agree JB was not good with email communication at all. However, if you order on line you receive you shipment pronto. Customer Service is lovely when you pick up the phone and call them. Janson Beckett also has great sales from time to time. I am a little partial as I worked for them for a VERY brief time.
In saying that, I would purchase from EDS. EDS has great prices on Janson Beckett products. |

I have been considering using the AD CE but I'm afraid of the ACETYL HEXAPEPTIDE-AH3 (ARGIRELINE). I read some horror stories about argirline cause face sagging by some sort of paralysis. |

lbianca,
My personal opinion in regard to Argireline (or any active) is you need to trust the companies reputation. I have been using AlphaDerma everyday for three years. AlphaDerma has been fantastic for firming my mature skin. I trust the years of experience behind Janson Beckett and Reviva Labs.
I would not take Argireline and buy it from an active distributor and apply it to my face. The formula and blending of a product is extremely important. Many fine skin care companies use Argireline. These companies study their formulas for a long time before releasing them to the public.
If you want to try Argireline be sure you buy a cream from a company that has a good reputation behind their name. There are many great companies out there.
Just my two cents. |
