Last time I went back to my parents' house, I found the Nutrimin body serum and lotion in my mom's bathroom. I was shocked to see it because I don't think my mother even own a facial cleanser, but she shelled out $70 for these two products. But she LOVES them, kept trying to get me to try them...they are pretty nice, although I don't know that I would pay that much for them.

I was wondering if it was just her going gaga over this or it there was more to it, so I checked it out on MUA and it has very good reviews (as does the eye cream from that line)

Liz

I've been using the Arbonne line for about 3 months now. I turned the big 5-0 in October so I was looking for an anti-aging line. I like the products - my skin feels great. Have they made a difference in my appearance - I don't really know. I don't honestly know what a 50 year old woman should look like. I have used many different products over the years and I can't honestly say this is any better or worse than any others I've used. I'm waiting a few more months before making a final decision!

I tried them and Wasn't real impressed plus the products left me milia. The eye cream initially was nice but I'd rather not have milia. Wink I think the line is overpriced and overhyped and I'm not a fan of the way they do business. I hate being pressured to sign up people or to sell it myself.

I had an immediate reaction to this stuff...

Should have checked makeupalley first...if you read through the reviews there, you will see lots of issues.

I use the line and have had great luck with it from a breakout standpoint. My skin feels great. But I'd like to find something without parabens and that gives me better anti-aging results.

If you're interested, your Arbonne rep should either loan you a kit or samples. Try before you buy.

Everyone I know who has used the product line has broken out or had rashes. Because of the way these products are sold, with everyone int he sales chain getting a cut, there needs to be a very high profit margin. In order to maintain a high profit margin under this sort of business structure, the cost to "manufacture" the product must be low, and the retail price must be high. To me, that is a red flag for low quality ingredients and/or ineffective concentrations in products.
