Hi Everyone,
I'm heavily researching c serums now that I've gotten my acne mostly under control, knock on wood. As a side note, I don't know what I'd do without Biologique Recherche's P50 toner. Wow.
My skin isn't sensitive to ascorbic acid, so I'm really looking for the best bang for the buck. Very concerned about serums quickly losing efficacy, however. Thanks all for your recs. |

I've been using Cellex-C High Potency Serum and their B5 gel. No problems. |

That's what I'm using also. Actually I have Yen to thank because she brought it to my attention that it was being sold on the shopping channel. So thank you Yen. |

You are very welcome Diana. I'm glad that you're loving the Cellex-C products too. |

I'm using and liking Candessence's Triple C Serum. Haven't had problems with this product going bad or acne. This is actually on the dryer side for me and is very liquid, not thick at all so it shouldn't aggravate anyone's oily/acne-prone skin. |

Regarding your concern about l-ascorbic losing its efficacy, you could always mix a bit up fresh each day, or, mix a batch for a week at a time using liquid oat betaglucans (you can get both fromwww.gardenofwisdom.com) for a base. Mixing each day means you know it's fresh & you control the LAA percentage according to what your skin needs. |

PSF's has no nasties and thus should not cause any breakouts. Very good finish especially for combi-oily skin. |

Thank you all for your helpful replies! I'm tempted to try the PSF one because its ingredients are so simple. Has anyone else had success with this?
What effects do you all see from using a c serum? I'm hoping it really will help boost my collagen production and even out my skintone. Ugh, my skin is so persnickety! Just when I think my acne is pretty well controlled it errupts. |
