I've gone a bit purse crazy lately and bought three new purses! ACK!! My favourite though is this one from Coach ... LOVE the patchwork and the colour! I just had to share since my boyfriend is tired of me talking about it to him. Laughing It just seems so summery ... I can't wait to use it. I just ordered it on Friday from Coach in Vancouver and should receive it mid week.

I wish we had a Coach store in Calgary. They have such cool products.Smile Our Holts carries Coach, but only a very limited selection.

thats a nice bag you have got there! i am asking my bestie's sister to help cp [Coach Signature Stripe Reversible Tote]for me when she leave for US next saturday! hiak.. hopefully she can find it in pale blue color there.

because Coach is so much more cheaper in US! for the same bag it cost about USD458 (after converting SGD into USD) whereas it cost only USD268 in US! that is about USD200 worth of savings.

....ooohh...Moonstar..you're my new best friend! Laughing I completely relate to your excitement! Every time I get a new handbag I want to post a pic of it...thanks for "opening the door" so to speak (this means that I can post handbag pics, too!)..Your new handbag is ***gorgeous*** and yes, I agree, Holts' selection is pretty limited but they do have some hot ones now and then (not as unique as yours, though)..I'm in Ottawa, so sometimes I think that the selection is even more timid in terms of style. Anyways, you'll have people bumping into walls when you start carrying that bag! But what about the other two bags?! Do you not have pics of them? Anxious

I LOVE the patchwork purses in the Coach line, but I have not seen this one yet! That one's a winner, Moonstarr!

Manslayerliz, your purse is cute!

They're both beautiful...and I have a penchant for purses..every dept. store I walk into I hit the purse section first! It's fun & you don't have to try it on to see if it fits...instant gratification.

I love them both!
I had 2 coach bags but I only bought them from the Seattle outlet store. They have better prices than Vancouver store but not most recent stocks though.

I'm not normally a fan of Coach, but I did pass by the boutique tonight and this same bag was in the window and it looked VERY nice! Now at this point I haven't ventured in, but if I do next week and end up buying it I'll be blaming you, Moonstarr!

Okay, so let me start by saying I was TOTALLY IMPUSLIVE and shouldn't have bought three bags, but there's a story behind it. First of all, I had bought this Chanel wallet (which I ALSO shouldn't have bought) and really wanted a matching purse (which I also didn't need .... see the theme here Laughing ) and because the purse is really hard to come by, I had my name on a waiting list and didn't think I'd get one any time soon ... if ever. So then I decided to buy the brown/white Coach purse (below) which I really liked, but also fell in love with the patchwork purse. So I'm thinking ... well, since I probably will never get the Chanel purse, I should get these in place of it (not that I needed or should have bought them). So I did that on Friday and I should have them mid next week(ish). THEN ... yesterday, on Saturday, I got a call from the Chanel Boutique saying there was a tote available from the same line as my wallet and I jumped at it since I was not sure if I was ever going to get the purse I had wanted in the beginning (which was the Cambon Bowling bag black w/ white). So to make a long story short ... I have now bought three purses and they've all gone on the credit card. DOAH! Well, atleast they'll make me happy. Laughing

Here's the pics ... the brown/white is the pic from the Coach website and the Chanel is my new baby I just brought home this afternoon.

Oh!! BTW ... Liz, I LOVE your purse!!! That kinda matches the bronzer you really liked (well, except without the pink)!

And appletini, let me know if you decide to get the patchwork too ... I can't WAIT to see it in person.

Anyway, I think from now on I'm going on a purse buying hiatus.

Oh, and BTW ... I blame this Chanel craziness on the Purse Forum at which I am only a lurker. But after seeing the photos of the Cambon line I was totally infactuated and that's when the madness began. Smile

Oh, blimey, I daren't!!!!! Don't tempt me, I'm trying to behave. Embarassed Laughing

Anyway, no more handbags allowed. I blame that guapagirl temptress for landing me with a Rick Owens * spam alert *. That blummin' man and his stupid, blummin' irresistible designs! He should be banned from making any more clothes!!!!! Mad Laughing

Now this is what I'm talki' about - other women w/ fashion addictions like moi Laughing Right now I'm a poor fashionista (until DH starts a new job Confused ) but I can still really appreciate well made apparel Smile

Majorb - can I borrow you "oh blimey" expression to add to my American voice?! I'm trying to incorporate "bloody" as well - much safer language in front of the kids Wink

Oh, BTW, does anyone know of good fashion forums/sites where you can find out the newest trends, bet classic pieces to always have, deals and steals, etc? Also, one that's realistic - no Chanel or YSL for me Sad

Be my guest.

I'm always quite amazed when American friends start using English swearwords over there (much worse than "bloody", obviously), as it's supposed to not sound so bad over there. Even when the word is obscene over here. Shock Laughing

Ladies--please--I have a real problem with handbags. I have a bit of an obsession, you know. I told myself that I wouldn't buy anymore handbags, shoes, {fill in the bland} until I started using all that I have and then I opened this tread--what's a compulsive shopper to do? I feel a purchase coming on! Lovey bags ladies--enjoy.
