I had a few questions first:

Are the results cumlative(sp)? Ive been using for 2 weeks now. Not much change - and no help for breakouts AT ALL. Is there a certain time of using before you see results?

What I HAVE noticed since using- and of course i cant blame on dermawand - just weird that these things have occured since. I have what looks like a sore with a scab on my forehead (dont know if i "burned" myself - I hold the unit there). I have what appears to be a new mole starting near my ear (right where Ive been holding the unit for the "facelift" techniques.) This morning I awoke to find a vein about an inch and a half long from the end of my eye to cheek. Im 35 - ive never had veins appear in my face before.

Ive used the dermawand every morning and night -doing the techniques every time. for the last week and a half ive been using it at level 9.

ANYONE ELSE HAVE THESE ISSUES? I think I need to send it back - very weird.

I would contact the company right away. Your experiences do not sound right. Did you get the Dermawand directly from the company? I'm wondering if it might be a knock-off or something wrong with it?

Sorry, I can't be of more help to you but I have used a Dermawand and have read feedback from many people that have used it or the Oxylight and have never heard anything like what you are posting.

Let us know what happens.

Yes, I would also contact the company and make sure you didn't get a fraud. I didn't get the results I wanted with mine, but I have extremely difficult acne. I certainly didn't get anything like the scab you described though.

I bought it from HSN actually. I wrote to them and they said i could send it back. Which I knew I could - i just really wanted to know if its possible for this gadget to do these things (or if its just weird coincidences).

I would just turn the level down - but then I want to get the most from it. Thats why i was wondering if there is a cumulative affect or if it takes awhile to see results.

But I most likely WILL send it back.

I've been using the DermaWand off and on for years, and have never encountered anything like what you are experiencing. Personally, I think it is just a coincidence.
I think you really need 3 or 4 weeks to see a difference, and I do believe the results are cumulative. After you've used it for awhile regularly, you can cut down to twice a week for maintenance.
If you search the forum, you will find a few threads on DermaWand, which you may find helpful or interesting Very Happy

Have the wierd things gone away when you stopped using the Dermawand?

I also probably wouldn't start with the Dermawand on the highest setting? Start lower and build up?

But, your strange symptoms are like nothing I've ever heard so I'm wondering if it is a defective Dermawand?!

I am no expert here but I do have a Derma Wand so I thought I would throw my two cents in Smile

I am wondering if perhaps you started off with too high a setting? I don't think I could take a nine and I have been using it for a couple weeks now.

That being said, I do think that the effects are cumulative...the longer I use it the better the effects.

I have noticed significantly smaller pores and (I think) some diminishing of the small lines by my eyes....but even if the only thing I got out of using the Derma Wand was the smaller pores it was money well spent (since I was expecting the folks from area 51 to come out looking for small crashed UFO's in them any day Wink ).

I do have my own "weird" re-action to using this gizmo which is that it seems to be "pulling" out things from my skin (nasty impure things). I am taking this to be an overall positive turn of events...but it is weird and not what I was expecting.

Hope it works out for you! Smile

I stopped using it for about 2 days cause at that point I was convienced I was sending it back. But my 4 weeks are almost up and I wanted to continue with it - just to see if it helps with toning.
Ive just stayed away from the areas I had these issues with. The vein is gone though.

I did start on the lowest setting and went up slowly the first few days - then i think i went from like 4 to 9. Smile Maybe that was too fast too soon. I was just comfortable enough to do that.
