I have a dark coloration and usually use MAC NW45 for seriously dark circles (genetic/allergies etc). Just wondering if there are any better out there. MAC NW45 is ok but not perfect. For the rest of my face, I'm a MAC NC40ish (NC 35-45). |

Hi Olivia ,
Thank you for the recommendations. I'm darker than you though and sadly there's not a good match of Kevyn Aucoin nor Cle de Peau or even LM for me... But I do love the texture of Kevyn Aucoin! The LM Secret Brightener is a good one - I use that one too to set and actually use it all over my eyes. Also, at times I use the YSL touche eclat in the corners.

Nars Concealer is good. Dollbird recommended it to me. |

What shade of Nars concealer do you use, Lisey? Also, what foundation shade do you wear for reference? |

I'm in the 5s for Alima - something like W5. I didn't have much joy with make-up for ever palettes either. It seems as though I have a very unique problem... |

Thanks Lisey. Are you W, N, or C in Alima? I'm between W1 and W2. Steffers recommends Nars Concealer as well, so I think I'm gonna have to check it out. |

I like Jane Iredale Circle Delete for dark circles as there are 2 shades in each pot (a light & a dark) so you can adjust. I use the peach and its very moisturizing, doesn't cake and really does the job for me. If your dark cirlces are purple/brown, try a peach concealer. If the dark cirlces are pinky/bluish, try a yellow concealer.
Sorry, don't know what all the Mac numbers mean... |

You're welcom, Lynn! I'm in between N3 and W3. For Laura Mercier MMU real sand suits me best. |
