I've seen it at the health food store a few times, tried their tester hand cream, but never have tried their facial skin care line. I was looking at their FRESH PAPAYA ENZYME MASK, looks pretty good, i was told by a dermatologist that since i have sensative skin, i should not scrub with something that would make my face all red, this looks like a nice gentle exfoliation treatment, Has anyone tried this all natural line? thanks

I've tried Zia and find that these are pretty good products. I used them years ago and mostly was impressed by the approach of the owner to provide skin care advise in her newsletter and also review and often favorably products from other companies.
That green papaya mask you mentioned has a very thick consistency and is a little hard to apply. I feel it is good but I don't love it. Very Happy

I just purchased my first Zia product, the new Ultimate Day Renewal, because it has the acetyl hexa-peptide that's supposed to "relax your muscles" like Botox. BUt from the research I've done you need 10% concentration of the peptide for it to be effective, and the Zia folks won't say how much concentration their Ultimate Day has (I called their phone number on their website) Their spokesperson said it was "proprietary" which I think may mean "not as much as 10%".
Even so, I am trying it for a few days and returning it if it doesn't seem like it's doing much. It does seem like it's a little harder to furrow my brow (I've had Botox there in the past so I know how it can feel) so maybe it is relaxing there.
By chance, the spokesperson at Zia happened to recommend to me the papaya product as a good exfoliant when I told him I had sensitive skin and AHA's were too harsh.

Tikafo,

I haven't read up on the required quantities of ingredients but I would be a bit suspicious if a company didn't want to tell me the concentration of the main ingredient in their product. For example, I wouldn't buy a vitamin C serum that didn't tell me the concentration of Vit C in it...

I liked all the Zia products I tried years ago (for combo / oily skin) but didn't stick with the line because the cost jumped dramatically when the exchange rate went through the root. And locally I could only find the products at two vendors.

I remember especially liking the eye gel, body moisturizer, and green enzyme exfoliating thing - I think called Ultimate Exfoliant.
