| hi its summer time n again that tan problem... sunscreen can help 2 control tan bt wat skin gets captured by it?? can any one help 2 solve this??? |

Do you mean how to get rid of "fake" tan? Or do you mean how do you avoid getting a ten altogther?
As for the latter, I'm Canadian but I lived in Japan for 5 years where women are absolutely obsessed with staying pale (I mean parasols and long white gloves while riding a bicycle.) I got into the whole tan avoidance thing but I realised after a few years that I was avoiding playing tennis for fear of getting a tan--i mean that is just crazy.
So now I always wear broad spectrum sunblock and limit my time in the sun when it is very strong, but I live my life. It is silly, I've realised, to think that I can stay lily white and unwrinkled forever! I play tennis now and I love it! I worry less and live more. And hey--at 38 my skin still looks pretty darn good  |

I am in the phase that I am starting to act like a sun-phobic - I even wear a hat in my east-facing family room on weekends mornings. And at the same time I feel embarrassed for acting such way. I applaud for what you said. |

I used to do the same. LOts of sunblock, wearing scarfs trying to cover my face in the sun lol lightening products..........however i think i ended up worse lol maybe products what more do i need to say  however im taking it abit more easy now and lesser obsessed, will take time though................. |
