hi all
i have been seeing a lot of info cropping up about subliminal healing and programming on the internet and also eBay, basically a CD (or download) containing subliminal messages to help you stop smoking/lose weight/be more confident, stop procrastinating etc etc.
anybody has any first hand knowledge on whether they work?
and what about those that apparently give you better skin or a 6 pack or make you hair grow faster? how do they work, if indeed they do?

I've ordered some discs from the colorgenics site that were to help with stress and weight. Supposed to listen once a day any time and once right before bed. I found this not to be very effective for stress so far and haven't tried the weight one yet.
Also interested and almost ordered a disc from Mercola last night called Insight but dumped it when I saw shipping costs to Canada...
I'm pretty sure there is something to this line of product, just finding the right one is tricky for me. |

I like the guided meditations of Bellaruth Naparstek. You can listen to audio samples before ordering atwww.healthjourneys.com You usually can find some of her work at your local bookstores as well in the audio self-help section.
I definitely believe in the mind/body connection but I'm not that into subliminals. I'm sure they can influence you but I prefer outright targeted stuff  |

thanks guys!! great suggestions!
I checked out the health journeys site and am interested in the meditations by lynne newman, might try an mp3 download. just generally feeling down in the dumps at the moment, need something to lift up my spirits and 'dancing with the light' sounds interesting.  |
