Yes, you may use these in combination with your normal, liquid foundation. |

It is hard to remove at night? And does it stimulate Acne? |

nope, it comes right off and I've never heard of it making people break out. The mineral veil is good stuff. |

It shouldn't cause break out. My friend has very sensitive skin and she's very happy with the products. Actually, the mineral veil may dry out your skin a bit if you have dry skin. I think it absorbs extra oil from you face. |

The combo of foundation, mineral veil, warmth, and glee are very pretty together. The bset thing about B.E. MMU is that everything is buildable and you can layer your heart out!!! I personally think that the warmth is better in the new soft focus warmth shade b/c it is lighter and more blendable/subtle. I love it all though. I am a BE addict! Have fun with this stuff and it will only improve your skin texture and tone. "Make up so pure, you can sleep in it" |

You can also use the glee for a blush and as an eye color and even dip your lip stick in it . . .I do that sometimes and it gives a nice monochromatic look for more conservative atmospheres like work. |

My search for the HG of MMU goes on! |

I've been using the Bare Mineral foundation for over 3 years and love it. It looks natural without being overly made up. |

Ive been using mineral makeup for 2 years now and use a combination of BE and Mineral Essence. I like the mineral essence foundation, it just has a better consistancy and the finish is out of this world. BE is my #1 pick for all other mineral products. I dont use the mineral veil myself because I find it does give me the "powered" look, I just dont have enough oil. I have done friends makeup and used the veil with wonderful results. I would say if you broke out in the store, maybe it could have been their brushes. If they used them in any other mineral or powder product it could have trace metals in it and many people break out from this. |

I have used it over concealer before with no issues. I don't use the Mineral Veil much either because it's a bit powdery for me. I thought I was just being weird, glad to see someone else has that problem.
I have used other brands and always go back to BE, but just recently tried some samples from lumiere cosmetics and really like it so far, so may switch for the price difference. |

It works great for those with acne, because it allows your pores to breathe. Plus you don't have that cakey feel, that most liquid foundations provide. |

i have all-over-colour in pure radiance. its a beautiful colour. i've used it over my smashbox primer as a blush, eyeshadow, and bronzer and it truly brightens up my complexion. i wouldn't recommend sleeping in any kind of makeup... thats just not too smart :S |

I have been using bare escentuals for almost a year and I LOVE their mineral veil, blush and the the multi-tasking which covers bags under the eyes and any spots beautifully! (because the multi-task goes on with brush you can cntrol exactly what you cover easily.)
I love how natural and light the makeup is while still giving excellent cover. It is promoted that it is so natual you could sleep in it (not that I would!!) but it is great to be able to put something like this on my skin and know it won't clog up my skin.
I can't rate these products highly enough!! LOVE them. |

I have a love-hate relationship with Bare Escentuals... I don't like the way it settles in around the pores, so I discovered if I use my #25 Alima brush, it goes on much more evenly and smooth. Of course it's harder to "swirl and tap" because that brush is very dense and not designed for that...but the result is much nicer. This week someone took a picture of me and couldn't believe how smooth and flawless my skin looked (at 55!)--and I remembered I was wearing my BE that day! |

I really like the way my skin looks when I have this on my skin, but it dries my skin out terribly. Anybody else have this problem? It has been 3 weeks and I'm hoping that my skin will become used to it. |

Skinlove, I find that a lot of MMU's are drying, or at least emphasize the dryness that already exists. It's important to moisturize really well first, and although the common wisdom is to wait till the moisturizer has completely absorbed, some folks find that applying your makeup while there's still a bit a dewiness from the moisturizer helps. Others swear by misting the finished makeup with a hydrosol or toner or thermal water, etc.
There are also some mineral makeup lines that suit drier skin better than BE. I think one of the Lumiere versions (Flawless Finish, maybe?) is good, and the Laura Mercier MMU is also better than most for dry skin.
Having said all that, I've tried all of them and have found that, for me, especially in the winter, liquid tinted moisturizer or foundation works better than mineral powder makeup. Just the way it is, sadly. |

Reading the comments about the dryness MMU causes I must say I have not had this problem - but that said I do not wear makeup everyday (probably only 3-4 days in a week) and other days I just put a little of the multitasking on if I need to cover anything up, plus mascara and lip gloss.
I also try and wash my makeup off when I get home rather than leaving it on all night until just before I go to bed. While BE and others state their products are natural I just don't think it can be good to have the skin covered up all the time.
Like flitcraft mentioned I do moisturise first and put the MMU on a few minutes later too |

I never could get the BE to match my skin right. So I now use Meow Cosmetics. I ordered a bunch of samples of foundations and found the correct shade that matched perfectly. I love it. They are quite a bit cheaper for me even with shipping. |
